I.Synopsis

"Hope for the Flowers", by Trina Paulus was an inspirational story of a caterpillar and a journey to find more in life. The story is about two caterpillars, Stripe and Yellow who believe that there must be more to life. They go on desperate search for the "more". They end up being separated by different needs. Stripe needs to know what is at the top and will not stop until he does. However, Yellow doesnt feel that getting to the top was worth all it asked to get there. She knew there must be a better way. She finally stumbles upon how. She has to become a butterfly. Its a hard decision though, because you have to surrender to the cocoon to become a butterfly. She does just that, and becomes a beautiful butterfly. She goes to find Stripe and lets him know that he has what it takes inside to become the "more" he has been looking for. He is convinced and becomes a beautiful butterfly himself. In the end, sometimes you have to look deep inside yourself to find the "more" in your life.

II. Character SketchProfessional writers help on Hope for the Flower-analysis essays The two main characters, in "Hope for the Flowers", are Stripe and Yellow, two caterpillars on a journey. Stripe believes there must be more than just eating to life. Even though he hates the climbing he just cant resist the impulse to find out what is at the top. He doesnt care what it takes or how long. He is willing to do it to get higher. In the end, he realizes he was mistaken. Yellow the other main character is just as eager to get high as Stripe is. However, she realizes that no matter what the pillar is not the way. Even though she doesnt know the right way she still journeys on to find it. Yellow realizes long before Stripe that fighting is no way to reach your goal.

III. Critique

I personally loved this book. It had so many deeper meanings than just two caterpillars looking for a way to fly. I learned that even though I might not know a way to become "more", it doesnt mean that one doesnt exist. I also learned that getting to the top doesnt require me to step on anyone else to get there and sometimes I might have to succumb to the cocoon to become a butterfly.

-- Claudette Colvin, sixteen, Montgomery federal court, May 11, 156

On the morning of December 5, 155, the black citizens of Montgomery, Alabama, inaugurated a year-long boycott of the racially segregated city buses. That afternoon, the boycott leaders elected Martin Luther King Jr., twenty-sixyear-old pastor of Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, as president of the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA), which they formed to direct the protest. Although King did not start the bus boycott, he grasped its significance at once. Chosen more because of existing leadership divisions than his own perceived strengths, he confidently took charge. When the mass protest persevered against unrelenting pressures from city hall, county courts, and white extremists, King emerged as a national and international symbol of the African American freedom struggle and was emaced by white and black media alike. While newspapers and magazines promoted an image of the young Baptist preacher as the bus boycotts prime mover, he acted within aoad structure of grassroots leadership that had been preparing the ground for black community mobilization long before he arrived in the Cradle of the Confederacy.

Founded in 181 and designated the Alabama capital in 1847, the city in the heart of the fertile Black Belt in the southern half of the state sat on a bluff overlooking the winding Alabama River. Montgomery had served as a center for cotton marketing and slave auctions before the Civil War. In Feuary 1861 ex-MississippisenatorJefferson Davis chaired a meeting in Montgomery of white leaders from six southern states, including Alabama, that had decided to secede from the Union. I am currently a Cost Accounting Supervisor with Matsushita Avionics in Lake Forest. Im very good at what I do and have never felt that not having a degree, or much college at all has ever held me back. I have held positions as Accounting Manager and Controller in the past. I actually took a great deal of pride in the fact that I had gotten this far completely on my own, without that piece of paper. My career goal or challenge was always to see what leave I could achieve next without a degree.

Recently, as our department grows with the addition of degreed accountants, that I may have skills close to or equal to theirs, but they possess many skills that I dont have. Some of the areas where they excel and I am lacking are communication skills, organizational skills, presentation, and professionalism. I believe that these are the skills that can only come from attending college and getting a degree. In my company, and most other companies today, without these skills you cant go too far. Though we probably have similar levels of accounting knowledge and skills, their degree is very evident.

The long term goal I have set for myself at the University of Phoenix is to get my degree. Though I have only just started the time and commitment that is necessary to complete this program is obvious and somewhat overwhelming, but Im committed to completing the program and graduating. Once I have completed my degree, my career is the next goal. Of course I would like to make more money, but just as important to me is to have an exciting posit that will challenge me. By a applying the newly acquired skills with my vast experience, I believe I can achieve my goal College papers on Personal Goals

Order your FATE IN ROMEO AND JULIET paper at affordable prices! One view of the play sees Romeo and Juliet as victims of fate. Do you agree with this? Having a complex plot, and too many deeply involved characters, I cannot simply say that Romeo and Juliet were purely victims of fate. The tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet, and the play itself, are based on four ideas that of fate, love, fueds, and violence. Fate contributed, though it was not the sole factor in the deaths of the young lovers. But fate did carry most of the plot because it is the reason for many events.

Fate may have also had it that Friar John was unable to deliver the important message to the banished Romeo. These key events, among others, have reinstated the role of fate past the prologue. Fate by the stars, is given to us a factor in Romeo and Juliets deaths. Another look at the play being determined by the stars sees Romeo trying to alter fates destructive path Is it een so? Then I defy you, stars!, Romeo exclaims, saying that fate has played role enough; he will dictate what is to come. Once inside the tomb with Juliet, Romeo again challenges fate Will I set up my everlasting rest, or shake the yoke of inauspicious stars. Even as the stars supposedly hold the fate of Romeo and Juliet, the families of Montague and Capulet still have much to contribute. Once again, the prologue introduces us to fate, this time from a family perspective. From ancient grudgeeak to new mutiny…From forth the fatal loins of these two foes… Here we are again given the thought that Romeo and Juliet are destined to die, and that the nasty feud between their families has a major part to play. Especially by using the word from, it tells us that as a result of the two quarreling families, there is destined to be a death toll.

The role of fate in their families plans and histories, and by the stars, is shown in many instances, saying that the deaths of Romeo and Juliet may have been predetermined and unavoidable.

Here is the report on Dyer Fliers. The aim is to show how external influences can affect Dyer Fliers, and how the airlines should respond to these issues. The micro and macro environment are the first source of concern. Then I will show how the consumer buying process will affect Dyer Fliers marketing activities.

Micro Environment.

These are factors that can be controlled by the organisation. Here are the main micro environment factors

The first factor would be the consumers. These are the people who create the demand for the aircrafts. They are the most important part to the business because they provide the income. This means the company should become more of a market-orientated organisation. They would need to recognise the importance of every customer and become far more customer focused. Because demand fluctuates so much in the airline business Dyer Fliers would need to able to respond to the change.

Essay service for your Marketing Externnal influence. HND (Merit) paper As the economy is in recession most organisations will have less money to spend. This means that businesses will not be able to afford expensive flights. Therefore they might need to use a budget airline such as Dyer Fliers. This is how they could become a more customer-focused organisation. If they moved towards attracting businesses to use the company for trips it could create a new market.

This is what airline companies such as Easyjet use. They do not offer anything fancy in their service, just a low cost airline which will offer everything it can within its limited budget.

The next point would be the suppliers. These are the companies who supply the airplanes, the fuel, the airports etc. Dyer Fliers should build up a relationship with them to gain greater efficiency. This will happen because if they build a relationship it will secure the services of the supplier in the long run. This will mean lower costs because they do not have to waste time finding new suppliers. They can also use techniques such as J.I.T. This is where the suppliers will deliver just as the old stock is running out. This is an advantage because it stops stock building up and wasting space.

They would need to pick the best supplier. They should pick one who is reliable, has a range of products, fast delivery and a good reputation. The effects of choosing a poor standard of supplier will have great effects on the business. Late deliveries could mean delayed flights and unhappy customers.

Publics are another factor that can influence the airlines. These are any group that has an actual or potential interest or impact upon an organisations ability to achieve its objectives.

One type of public would be the community who live around the airports. These people are very concerned about the noise and the pollution it gives off. They are likely to protest against building a new airport. This would make it difficult to keep a good image, as they would be upsetting many people. This might attract citizen publics. These are pressure groups like green peace. This is difficult to overcome, as the only way to stop them is to not build the airports. Dyer Fliers have little impact on whether it is built or not because it is a government policy. They could give money to charities such as green peace. This would show they are trying to fix the damage they are causing to the environment.

Macro Environment

These are factors that cannot be controlled by the organisation.

Political factors. This will have a huge influence upon the regulation of businesses and the spending power of consumers and other businesses. This can affect Dyer Fliers because the government could give out subsidies to the airline industry. After September 11th the government has noted the decline of the airline industry. If it is not stabilised then the tourism industry will suffer with it. People will be reluctant to travel because of the fear of further terrorist strikes. The government might subsidise the airline industry to help it recover. Dyer Fliers would need to respond to this by promoting the airlines. They could make advertisements showing how safe it is to fly and how the government money has helped them achieve their security goals.

The EU competition policy will have an influence on Dyer Fliers. It says that all competition in the EU should be fair. This aims to stop collusion. This is where companies talk to each other and set a false market price. This will affect Dyer Fliers because they will not be able to do it.

Terrorism has had a huge impact on the airline industry. It has already severely damaged consumer confidence in flying. This will need to be restored to encourage people back. Dyer Fliers could do this by increasing security at airports. If customers see a lot of metal detectors and security guards it will make them think that it would be almost impossible for a terrorist to get onto the plane undetected.

The problem with this solution is that in the USA, people use planes like buses. This means that they might not liked being checked every time they went to work. They might like to find alternative forms of transport.

It would also be very expensive to increase security. In an industry already struggling it would be difficult to invest such a huge amount of money into one small area.

Economic Factors will affect Dyer Fliers. Theses are as follows

· Interest rates. These are set by the government. If Dyer Fliers take out a business loan they will have to pay interest on the loan. Depending on the level of interest will determine how much they are going to pay back. If the interest rates increase they are less likely to borrow money. This means they are unlikely to expand the company. If interest rates are low then they will borrow more money so they can. High interest rates could cause Dyer Fliers to go bankrupt. If they can no longer afford the interest payments on previous loans.

· Inflation. This is the rate at which prices are rising. Dyer fliers will need to take note of the level of inflation. This will make costs increase so they will need to budget for them. The price of raw materials increases dramatically with inflation. This means costs such as fuel will become more expensive. To handle this they would need to find the cheapest suppliers to keep costs down. This cost is likely to be pushed onto the consumer. This will have an effect in reducing demand slightly. It will not affect it too much because demand is relatively inelastic, as most people do not have much choice about alternative forms of transport.

· Exchange rates. This will affect dyer flyers if they are buying supplies from aoad. The UKs currency is relatively strong. The value of the £ can be given as $1.60, or as DM .0. This means that £1 can buy $1.60, or £1 can buy DM.0. The exchange rate will change very often. Dyer flyers will need to take this into account. If the price of the £ falls then it will make imports more expensive. They can react to this by reducing their profit margins so as not to put the costs onto the consumer, or they can pass the costs to the consumer. As the demand is relatively inelastic for flying it is recommended the costs be passed to the consumer.

· Economic growth. This is the rate of increase in general economic activity. This will affect Dyer Fliers as the faster the economy grows, the wealthier people will become. Therefore they are likely to buy. It can cause people to change what they buy. For example Dyer Fliers is a budget airline, so if businesses had more money to spend they might want to put their businessmen on a first class airline. A recommendation would be to target a new segment of the market. E.g. cheap holidays for families.

In conclusion, the macro environment is going to have a huge affect on how Dyer fliers are run. If the points raised are ignored then the company will fail. They must stick to EU laws or will face legal action. The interest rates, inflation, exchange rate and economic growth will have the most affect on costs. The decision should be made on whether to push these costs onto the consumer or to reducing profit margins. In the recession we are in at the moment it would be wise to pass the costs onto the consumer or the costs will become too high to survive. The micro environment will have a less significant affect on Dyer Fliers, but it is recommended that the marketing becomes more customer orientated to keep up with the changing market.

Buying Behaviour.

The consumer buying process is the who, when, where, why and what of the business. It is based on how the consumer will go about making a purchase. The decision-making process is as follows

· Problem recognition. This is where the consumer will realise they have the desire to purchase a good. For example, they might decide they want to go on a low cost holiday.

· Information search. A consumer will look at information on the product or service they wish to buy. For example looking on the Internet for low cost airlines. They could also look in newspapers and TV adverts deals on airlines.

· Information evaluation. This will involve looking at all the information available and seeing which goods and services are relevant. In Dyer Fliers case this would be where people narrow down the choices to a few decisions.

· Decision. This is what the consumer decides to purchase after evaluating the choices on offer. For example, choosing Dyer Fliers because of its low cost travel.

· Post-purchase evaluation. This is when consumers decided whether they bought a quality good or service after they have purchased it. For example, looking at the value for money they got by using on Dyer Fliers.

The influences on buyer behaviour would be

· Culture. This is peoples beliefs, attitudes ideas and values carried down from one generation to the next within a society. Dyer Fliers must not simply find out the cultural attitudes of the customers they are selling to. Culture can change, and they must notice these changes and adapt. For example, pensioners culture is to be old fashioned and to save what little money they have. Being old fashioned will mean they might not want to use Dyer Flyers. If pensioners received a grant from the government to increase their standards of living it may change their culture. It might make them enjoy their money more and want to use Dyer Fliers to have a holiday.

· Social Class. This will involve whether a consumer would be working class, middle class or high class. It would be sensible for Dyer Fliers to only aim at one social class, as people are more akin to those in their social class. Middle class is the most likely. This would be because working class people are not likely to have enough money to travel and high-class people are not likely to use budget airlines. Middle class people are exposed to different media to working and high-class people. They are likely to be influenced by newspapers such as the Observer. Advertising cheap flights in this magazine could be a good way to show these people Dyer Fliers offers. This would help the consumer with their information evaluation because it would show what the best deal is.

· Demographics. This is the ageing population of the UK. Birth rates are falling and pensioners are living longer. This could be of great significance to Dyer Fliers. Their marketing strategy could be aimed towards the pensioners. If they advertised low cost flights to places pensioners like to visit it could boost sales. To aim their marketing strategy at pensioners they could advertise in places such as Tescos. Shopping is one task that pensioners enjoy doing. If Tescos had a scheme to give out leaflets to Pensioners it would spread the word. Offering discounts for pensioners would be another method. This would encourage them make their decision about choosing Dyer Flyers.

· Technological Environment. This is going to have an effect on the buying behaviour of the customers.

Internal sources such as Research and development will have an effect because they will be able to develop better more efficient products. An example would be engine parts for an aeroplane. This would make the plane more fuel efficient, thereforeinging the costs down for the customers. This would affect their buying behaviour because it will allow them to make their decision easier. R&D will also help J.I.T. delivery because the department can find more efficient ways to get the stock delivered at the right time. This will also help to lower costs and encourage the consumers to fly Dyer Fliers.

The Internet will help to change the decisions of the consumers. Dyer Fliers could advertise over the Internet. This would show millions of people what they have to offer and would make it much easier for the consumers to collect information.

They could also use it for making orders for stock. This is a far more efficient and reliable way of making an order. It will cut down on mistakes because it does not go through any other people (like the post office), it goes straight to the supplier. This will also make it easier to check what they have ordered if anything goes wrong. All the information is stored on a computer rather than files.

Collecting all the information on customers on databases is a great way of knowing who the customer is. It means there is instant access to all kinds of information like average age or salary. This means they will know their customer and make it easier to become more customer orientated.

Technological advances all move towards making Dyer Flyers more efficient and therefore keeping the costs low for consumers. This is going to make air travel more accessible to people and so become easier to make a decision. It is likely to allow Dyer fliers to become more marketing orientated as they will know and understand what the customer wants and how to satisfy that need.

In conclusion, the consumer buying process has an effect on the marketing activities on Dyer Fliers. It shows where they need to advertise and who to aim at. The recommendations would be to offer special deals to pensioners to attract them use the airline. It is important that the company take account for culture, demography, social class and technology. These factors will ensure the business sells to the correct group in the correct way.

Reality is made up of physical objects and ideas. They are both forms of reality. Reality is what we see, hear, touch, and smell, using all our senses.

The postmodernists view is that there are multiple simultaneous realities. They feel that there is no one objective reality or truth. According to the postmodernists, all groups with ideas of what is real are correct at the same time. Another example is women who are feminists, and feel that their reality is different than males.

The postmodernists reject the traditional ideas of philosophy and metaphysics. They believe that reasoning is not sufficient to find truth. Postmodernists dont make any attempts to find the truth about reality. They think that since there are multiple groups using the word "reality" differently, then there must be multiple realities existing at the same time.

I believe that there is one ultimate reality in which we all exist, and that the mind and matter are equally real. It is made up of both physical and mental properties, such as in Dualism.

Much of what happens with us in our daily life is physical; however, we also engage in thinking, we have a perception of things, and we feel emotions. Both the mind and the body exist and are separate substances. They are all different forms within our ultimate reality.

Each person within this ultimate reality creates and has his own individual experience of it. Each person has an individual perception of it and a different perspective on it. That is why the feminists perceive reality differently than the males. There is one reality of which people perceive and experience differently.

I believe that what one person believes may not agree with another persons belief. Also, what may be real to one person may not be real to the second person. That is, that persons perception of reality may not be the same as the second persons perception of reality.

I dont believe that each group and each person is entitled to believe in their own reality. They are, however, entitled to create their own individual experience within one ultimate reality. Therefore, they have their own individual perception of reality and their own perspective on it.

When there is a conflict between two different "realities", the dominant group will try to impose their views on the lesser or minority group, in an effort to have them conform and accept the dominant groups way of looking at things. It is possible that the group in power can determine the criteria used to define reality in order to suppress minorities.

Conflicts in reality are resolved through the use of force and violence. Certain groups in power use the concept of reality as a tool to control other groups in society that are considered threatening to their political and economic order.

In this way, the idea of reality is used as a tool for social organization, politics, and also, racial oppression and discrimination. The group or culture which has the most power decides what reality is and imposes this view on those with less power, minorities, who might otherwise disagree.

The resolution of conflicting realities, unfortunately, can be that the group with the most power will determine what is real by its criteria and force it upon the other group.

The resolution of conflicting claims, as stated by C. S. Pierce, was to postulate an ideal community who would come to agreement in the long run. This pragmatists view is not feasible.

One of the values that the pragmatists attempt to promote is tolerance and respect for the right of others to hold their own views. There dont have to be different realities existing at the same time, but different perceptions and perspectives by different people that is, different views. Unfortunately, tolerance of others so far has not worked in our society, and violence still exists.

The architect Leopold Eidlitz once said "American architecture is the art of covering one thing with another thing to imitate a third thing, which if genuine would not be desirable" (guide pg. 4). The architects who designed Washington D.C. were true to this. Neoclassical, Greek Revival, Roman Revival, Georgian, Gothic Revival, and Egyptian architectural styles were all used in the creation of the city in the 1800s.

The image of Classical order came to be strongly associated with public buildings and their role in elevating public virtue (Understanding Architecture pg. 4). William Thortons design for the Capital Building captured that image. "The grandeur, the simplicity, and the beauty…will, I doubt not, give it a preference in your eyes as it has in mine," Thorton exclaimed (geocities.com). The design for the Capital was a work of art but would prove to be difficult to build. In 180, Benjamin Henry Latrobe took over work on the building (geocities.com). By 1807, he had completed the south wing and had begun repairs and alterations to the north wing (guide pg.). Unfortunately on August 4th, 1814 Admiral Cockburn of theitish Navy set fire to this "harbor to Yankee Democracy" (guide pg.). When Latrobe began reconstruction, it allowed him to explore different Greek styles and to find something suitable for democratic expression (geocities.com). Latrobe can be seen as the originator of the American search for a purer Classicism (geocities.com). Charles Bulfinch took over construction in 181 and completed the project in 18 (guide pg.).

The White House, which was designed and contracted by James Hoban was first created between 17 and 1801. Like the Capital Building, Neoclassical styles were used but with an expression of Georgian architecture (greatbuildings.com). The White House also was set fire on in 1814 but was not destroyed. By some stroke of luck, a large thunderstorm came over while it was burning and smothered the flames (guide pg.70). After the war, Hoban set to work on repairing the house. In 18 the White House was completed again, this time with North and South Porticos (guide pg.71). The house stands today as it did then and it still houses the president and his family.

Classic and Greek Revival styles were also used in many random buildings throughout the city at this time. Such buildings are the National Portrait Gallery, Tariff Commission, Central Liary, American Security and Trust Building, St. Johns Church, the Van Ness Mausoleum, and the Treasury Building (guide). Each of the buildings architecture can closely resemble that of ancient Europe.

In 18, a wealthy English scientist James Smithson left a large sum of money to the people of the United States. He requested that the money be used to create and institution in order to "increase the diffusion of knowledge among men" (geocities.com). James Renwick was chosen to create the "castle" and his work became one of the finest and most important Gothic Revival buildings in America (guide pg.4). It is an anachronism to Washington D.C. because of its distinctness from the rest of the city. The irregular shape made up of many turrets, spires, parapets, and towers make it easily recognizable (sc4.ameslab.gov). The castle now serves as the administrative headquarters of the Smithsonian Institution (guide pg.4). There are now sixteen museums, four research centers, the National Zoo, a system of liaries, and many other offices controlled by the institution (geocities.com)

Located in the National Mall is a stone building that was the tallest masonry structure in the world. The Washington Monument stands five hundred fifty-five feet and was created by Robert Mills. It features an Egyptian style of architecture that was to this point absent in the United Sates (guide pg.40). "The Obelisk has to my eye a singular aptitude in its form and character to call attention to a spot memorable in its history. It says but one word. But it speaks loud. If I understand this voice, it says Here" (guide pg.40)

Washington D.C. is a city filled with democracy, freedom, and hope. The great architects who built this city put these qualities into every structure created. It is this and the use of European architectural styles that molded to create the beautiful city we know today.

Order your The Madonna enthroned by Giotto paper at affordable prices! The Madonna Enthroned by Giotto is a clash between the art of the Catholic West

and Orthodox East of the thirteenth century. This clash of both art forms resulted in the

Byzantine style. This picture is the representation of Mary enthroned as the Queen of

heaven. She holds a baby. This baby is the representation of Christ who, according to

Online writing services offer help on The Madonna enthroned by Giotto medieval precedent is a little adult.

The gold weave on the drapery worn by the figures in this picture represent

gleaming light. The flowing lines distinguish the artist as Greek. Italian influence is

shown here as well. This is shown in the crown of light, the standpoint of the wooden

throne with its tall back and the proportion of light and shade. In this picture the images

all appear to be quite close. There is no real or available background that the on looker

can see. The angels surrounding Mary look unreasonable close to one another. Also,

Mary is shown as larger than life. This is unrealistic. The artist was attempting to make

the image of Mary appear as a distance away from the angels, to show her holiness and

supreme power. There is not much depth in this picture. The images are one above the

other. There is no depth as far as a background either. There seems to be a wall behind

Marys throne which is quite unrealistic since a throne has legs behind it. The space in this

picture is limited. All of the angels are overlapping and the throne takes up the majority

of the picture.

Two-Hundred years later the Madonna of the Meadow was painted by Raphael.

This picture is also one of Mary. She is holding Christ as he plays with John the Baptist

(his second cousin). Raphaels style is derived from that of Leonardo. He shows this with

his pyramidal arrangement of figures in his work. There is much more depth in this

picure than that of Giottos Madonna Enthroned. Unlike Giottos, the Madonna seen here

is realistic. Her skin tone is not pale, it has a peachy pink color. Also, this picture has

ample depth. There is a spacious, green scenery turning blue in the distance. Raphael

paints the human images large to appear close, and the rural scenery small to show depth.

The figures in this are also much more realistic as far as the curves and

proportions of the human body. In Madonna Enthroned, the fingers of the figures are long

thin and take on a form that is not true to human anatomy. The fingers and curves of the

hands of the figures in Madonna of the Meadow are truer to that of actual human beings.

There is much more space in Madonna of the Meadow though both works are

two-dimensional. Madonna of the Meadow is a vision of a point where figures in art are

able to stand solely & still seem immortal and heavenly. Art Across time by laurie schneider adams,McGraw-Hill higher education, 00, New York, NY

(sent to me by mail)

Teaser Monica and Chandlers apartment.

The apartment is beautifully decorated for Rachels baby shower. There are flowers, cakes, candy, fruit and decorations all over the place. They had even decorated the outside of the door with baby clothes. The episode starts with Monica and Phoebe standing in the kitchen. Theyre preparing food for the baby shower as Rachel enters. So whats the latest headcount for the baby shower? Rachel asks. Phoebe says that there will be about 0 because some of the people from Rachels work couldnt come. Monica tells Rachel that neither of her two sisters could come. Rachel says that shes not surprised since there will be no booze or boys at the party, but shes just happy that her mother will be there. Monica and Phoebe look at each other with weird looks on their faces, realizing that they have forgotten to invite her mom. Monica says that Phoebe was in charge of the invitations, but Phoebe makes up an excuse involving her mothers death, so shes off the hook. Rachel asks them to call her mom since its really important to her to have her there. Phoebe asks what her mothers number is, but Rachel says, Off the top of my head? Seriously? And then she leaves. They shot two versions of this scene with the other version ending with Rachel exclaiming, I dont know! before she left. Monica says she has her number in her book and starts dialing the number. As she waits, she stops for a second and tells Phoebe that this should be her responsibility since she was in charge of the invitations. But Sandra Green answers the phone, and Monica starts talking to her. Monica asks her to come to the impromptu baby shower at 4 p.m. Sandra says dryly that she heard about the impromptu baby shower one month ago when her daughters received their invitations. Monica gets a bit flustered and leans over to Phoebe whispering, My ass is sweating! After she convinces Sandra to come, Monica hangs up. Phoebe then reminds her that the baby shower is at p.m., not 4. Son of a bitch! Monica shouts and starts dialing again.

College Essays on Ava Adore Scene 1 Joeys apartment

Joey is sitting in his La-Z-Boy, looking at a script when Ross and Chandler enter. Theyre all dressed in sweatpants and sweaters, and Chandler is holding a basketball. Hey, Joe, you wanna play some hoops? Chandler asks and throws the ball to Joey. No, I cant, Joey says. Neither can Chandler, but that doesnt stop him, Ross says, grinning. They shot this sequence three times, and they changed the lines in the other two times to some lines where Chandler said he had problems blocking the tall one and Ross said that the tall one was a girl. Joey tells Ross and Chandler that he has an audition for a new game show called Bamboozled. How great will it be if I get to be Dr.Ramoray during the day, and [in an announcer kind of voice] Joey Tribbiani at night?, he says. Chandler points out that its a good thing that Joey Tribbiani already is his name. Thats already your name, Chandler says sarcastically. Joey also says that he thinks it would be great to have a game show like Bob Barker on The Price is Right. He claims that Barkers career has lasted for 75 years. Chandler says that he doesnt think the ratings were particularly good the first 5 years since there was no TV back then. Joey tells them that Bamboozled is a difficult game show with lots of rules, and he isnt good at games. Ross points out that he beat Ben in Hungry, Hungry Hippo last week, but Joey admits that Ben let him win. Ross suggests that they can help him out. I thought we were going to play! Chandler exclaims. Please... Joey says. Okay, I can suck at this game some other time. Chandler says. They changed this line several times, e.g. to, I guess we can get beaten by junior high-school girls some other time, and I guess we can get beaten by 11 year old girls some other time. The last two versions got the best response from the audience. Chandler and Ross sit down on Joeys green stools in the middle of his apartment, and they start the game show. Joey asks them if they think Bamboozled is a cool name. Ross says Yeah! and is very excited while Chandler says no. Big laughter from the audience! Joey introduces himself and asks Ross to tell a little about himself. Ross says his name, that hes a paleontologist living in New York plus that he has a son named Ben. Hi Ben! he smiles and waves to the camera. Before he [Ross] can go any further Joey interrupts him and says I said a little bit, Ross. It is very obvious that Ross is perhaps a little too excited about the show at this point. Joey walks over to Chandler and asks him to introduce himself. Well, Joey, Im a head-hunter. I hook up out-of-work Soviet scientists with rogue third world nations, Chandler says. Hi Rasputin, he continues as he waves to the camera. Matthew Perry had huge problems getting this line right, and they had to shoot it at least ten times before he got it right. When he managed to say it, Matt messed up, and Matthew just looked exasperated. This was just hilarious! Its time for the questions, and Joey starts. What is the capital in Colombia? Bogota, Chandler replies, pronouncing it correctly. Sorry, that was Bogota [pronounced in an American-English way which was wrong], Joey says, but its close enough. Ross and Chandler look at each other. Joey asks Chandler if he would like a Wicked Wango card, and Chandler asks what that is. Joey explains that it decides whether you go higher or lower. Higher or lower from what? Chandler wonders. Joey looks blankly at him, and smiles. This is embarrassing, I should know this! he says in the announcer voice, and starts looking through his script. Chandler leans over to Ross and says, Can you believe how lame this is? Ross merely says, I dont believe the contestants are allowed to talk to each other, and looks a bit smug.

Scene Monica and Chandlers apartment

The guests have arrived at the baby shower. There are about 15-0 women there. One of them is the girl who looked at Rachel when she stole Ross money in 7 TOW Chandlers Dad. Phoebe and Monica are in the kitchen, while Rachel sits in the comfortable chair in the living room. Phoebe tells Monica that she told the stripper to come at five. Monica is shocked, and tells Phoebe that that is very inappropriate for a baby shower. But hes going to be dressed as a baby! Phoebe says. Sandra Green, Rachels mom, arrives, and Monica, still feeling guilty about not inviting her, rushes over to welcome her. She takes her coat and says that she cannot feel worse about it. Try, Sandra says, and walks away. Monica feels awful now that she knows that Sandra is angry with her. Phoebe says that she must forget about it, and think about how she wont have to make small talk with so many people at the party. Monica is still worried, and she tells Phoebe that she must go and powder her ass. Courteney had to say this line over and over again since they shot the scene so many times, so in the end she looked up at the audience and grinned, Okay, Im going to say it one more time, people, making the audience laugh out loud. She also said that she is not powdering her ass for real… She had the audience in stitches! Sandra and Rachel are talking in the living room. Look at this face, Sandra says. If I didnt know better, Id say you were a cheerleader in trouble. Just three weeks to go now! Sandra proceeds to ask her whom shes going to hire as a nanny, because she cannot make her housekeeper do both tasks because it will destroy the housekeepers focus. Rachel just looks at her and says that shes not going to hire a nanny, and she cannot afford to have a housekeeper. Gosh, its like youre a cave-person, Sandra gasps. I guess I forget that not everybody gets alimony. Sandra says that Rachel should have someone like their Mrs. K, who the Green-family had when Rachel was a girl. Oh, I remember her, Rachel says. She taught me Spanish, and I think I remember some of it `Tu madre es loca.. What was her name? I dont know, Sandra shrugs. She was the nanny. All of a sudden Sandra gets an idea and suggests that she can move in with Rachel for eight weeks and help her out. She gives her daughter a hug and notes that Rachel has tears in her eyes. Rachel is obviously not happy about this.

Scene Joeys apartment

The game show is in full swing. Joey and Ross are both really into the whole thing; Chandler is not having much fun. Ross is in the lead, and Chandler gets a question. He doesnt want to play any more because he thinks its really stupid, but Joey forces him to sit down. Ross talks about all these crazy cards that you can get in the game, like the Angel-pass to get to the Golden Monkey. Joey asks Chandler if he wants a Gimme-card. Chandler accepts, and it turns out that the card makes Ross lose all of his points to Chandler. This game is fun! Chandler grins. Ross starts to protest, but Chandler points out that he doesnt think the contestants are supposed to talk to each other. Joey walks over to Ross and asks if he wants to spin the Wheel of Mayhem. The wheel hasnt been my friend tonight, Ross muses. Joey tells Ross to hold hiseath, to which Ross replies that hes fine. However Joey points out that he has to hold hiseath (some rule). Chandler says Joey asks him the question, What are you afraid of when you have tre.. tri… tr.. He doesnt know how to pronounce the word, so he walks over to Chandler, who says the word is triskaidekaphobia. Triskets! Ross says. But it turns out it is the number 1. Ross then says they have really sharp edges. Ross announces that he wants to hold on to his Angel-pass, while Chandler finally snaps, yelling, this game makes no sense!! They shot a few additional reactions for Chandler. One where he said, Are you sure you dont wanna try the blabla [best described as a typical Chandler sound] card?, one where he said there are no winners here and one where he said Cmon Ross, I think were both losers here.

Scene 4 Monica and Chandlers apartment

Monica and Phoebe are standing at the table. Phoebe asks Monica whether the party is going to end soon because people are itching to go home, and by people, she means herself. Monica is getting increasingly desperate due to Sandras unwillingness to forgive her, and she points out that it shouldnt be so hard. Im sorry, Sandra. Thats okay, Monica. And by the way, you look very pretty, Monica says. Phoebe looks at her before she says, I have a new respect for Chandler. Great response from the audience. Rachel comes over, having no idea what to say to her mother after her suggestion. I love my mom, but even a lunch is taxing! Rachel says. Monica encourages her to tell it to her mom right away, and not to take no for an answer. Rachel thinks its a good idea because she doesnt want her mom to sleep in her bed; and after she leaves, Monica tells Phoebe that this means that Sandra will hate Rachel and not her. And afterwards, I can swoop in and be the daughter she never had, Monica beams. Phoebe walks over to the presents, and yells, Who wants to open the presents? The way she says presents is totally hilarious. Monica hurries over to Sandra and says that they should open Sandras present first since shes the babys grandma and the most important person not only in the room, but in the world. Sandra glares at her. I dont have a gift since I wasnt invited before the last minute, but thanks foringing that to everybodys attention, she says to Monica and walks over to the kitchen. Rachel joins her mom in the kitchen, and she tells her that she doesnt care about the fact that she didnt get a present from her. Sandra points out that she just gave Rachel herself for eight weeks after the birth. Rachel tells her mom that she will be just fine on her own, but Sandra doesnt believe her. Remember Twinkles? she says. That was a hamster! Rachel cries. Im not going to vacuum up my own baby! Phoebe is over by the presents in the living room, and yells, Rachel, youre the glue that holds this party together, and its kind of falling apart. Phoebe gives her a beautiful pink bassinet, filled with baby-stuff thats from her colleagues at work, and Rachel starts looking through it. She picks up aeast pump and grins. A baby beer bong? she laughs. The guests look at her, and Sandra tells her that its aeast pump. Did I say I was done guessing? Rachel says uneasily. She picks up a diaper-genie and asks what its for, and one of the guests tells her its a diaper-genie. Rachel thinks its for dispensing clean diapers, and she becomes shocked when the guests tell her what its really for, and that babies need to be changed ten times a day. What are we feeding the baby, Indian food? Rachel cries. Rachel says that she will just take the dirty diapers out and throw them in the garbage outside. Sandra asks her where shell put the baby while shes outside, and Rachel replies, on the changing table. The guests are shocked, and Sandra explains that you can never leave a baby alone, ever. Rachel tries to move away from the topic by thanking her colleagues for the beautiful basket. Its a bassinet, her colleague tells her. Rachel is visibly upset by now, so she says that she wants to open the presents later and mommy, dont ever leave me. They shot the last part three times, and Rachel said, Only 8 weeks? (to her mom), and You can sleep in my bed in the two other versions. At this point the guys came back to the stage, and Matthew Perry walked over to the audience and asked, Are you guys ready to laugh really hard?

Scene 5 Joeys apartment

The game show is getting pretty intense at this point, and both Chandler and Ross are doing their best. Joey In which movie can you find the line; `Badges? We aint got no badges? Chandler The Treasures of Sierra Madre! Joey Backwards-bonus? Chandler Madre Sierra of Treasures The! They had a lot of questions, and the guys also mentioned the different stages of the game, such as Mudhut, Hungry Monkey, Wicked Wango, Time Turtle etc. Joey walks over to Ross and asks him a lot of questions, including one about the theme song for I Dream of Jeannie, and one about Queen Victoria. Ross decides to get a hopping- bonus, which means that hes hopping on one leg while answering on Joeys questions. However, he loses his bonus when he forgets to change legs in between the questions. Ross gets really upset. Its Chandlers turn, and he chooses a Google-card. However, this time he loses his points, and Ross wins. Joey says in his announcer-voice, Chandler, you have just been Bamboozled! This is the worst game!! Chandler yells. This scene had the audience in stitches. It was absolutely hilarious, and among the funniest scenes this season.

Scene 6 Monica and Chandlers apartment

There are baby clothes, toys, bassinets and other baby things all over the apartment at this point. Matthew had no other scenes to shoot, so he waved at the audience and left when they started shooting this scene. Rachel is still freaked out over the whole baby-issue and doesnt know what to do about it. She says that she has read many books about pregnancy and giving birth, but she has no idea what to do when the baby comes. Can I throw up in my diaper genie? she asks. Her mother comforts her and gives her a hug. Monica jumps into the hug as well, hoping to make Sandra forgive her. Sandra goes to the bathroom. At the last take she added a it was worth a shot!. Meanwhile, Ross enters. Phoebe and Monica look at him. Hes jumping up and down, still very hyper after the game show in Joeys apartment. Why are you so red and sweaty? Phoebe asks. I just bamboozled Chandler! Ross says, adding, Which is not a sexual thing. So, this was a quick shower? Not if you were here, Phoebe says. Ross walks over to Rachel whos sitting on the couch. He thinks they have got a lot of great stuff, and Rachel says that the best gift came from her mom. A play-doh barbershop? Ross asks excitedly. Rachel tells him that her mom will live with them to help her out for the first eight weeks, and Ross is shocked. He says that Sandra will drive them crazy, but Sandra emerges from the bathroom and interrupts him. Hey roomie! he exclaims quickly and gives her a hug.

Scene 7 Joeys audition for Bamboozled

Joey enters, ready to audition for the game show. He meets Ray, the shows producer, and there are also two other people there who are supposed to be game show contestants. Ray tells Joey that theyre called Duncan and Erin, but Joey immediately forgets Erins name. He introduces himself, and starts asking questions, all the while using the announcer-voice. Ray stops him and asks whether he has received the new script for the show. It turns out that the show has dropped all the rules in the game, and its now going to be a regular game show where people just answer questions. Joey says that the rules arent hard at all, and he lists them all in perfect order. (The rules included, spinning the wheel, climbing the ladder of chance, mudhat, rainbow, golden monkey, yanking the monkeys tail, and go to the Paradise Pond.) However, the producer still wants a regular show, so Joey says, Whats the fun in that? He doesnt want to be a part of a boring show like that, but the producer tells him that there will be girls in bikinis holding up the scores. Joey grins. Lets play Bamboozled!! he yells.

Scene 8 Monica and Chandlers apartment

Sandra is talking to Ross and suggests that they should use an interior decorator in Ross and Rachels apartment since she prefers jewel-tones. Who doesnt? Ross remarks dryly. Sandra says that they should also throw some of his dinosaur- knick-knacks in the garage. But we dont have a garage, Ross says. Did I say garage? I meant garbage, Sandra says. She pronounces garbage almost exactly like garage just with a b. Ross has had enough, and he tells her that he will be there for Rachel. Maybe its not vital that you live with us, Ross tells Sandra. He says that she doesnt have to stay because hes used to children and had Ben on his own after Ben was born. Sandra stops and muses on the fact that Ross is about to have two children with two different women. Have you no control, Ross? she asks. Thats not the issue, Ross says uneasily. Instead, he points out that hes going to do everything he has to do for the baby, and not only that, he wants to do it. Sandra blows him off and says that Dr.Green said the same thing, but when the a.m. feedings started, he merely said, Im tired, you take care of it, which she later used as an excuse to not have sex. Ross points out that hes not Dr.Green, and, no offence, but Dr.Green is an ass! Sandra smiles, and says, I do like you, Ross. Sandra agrees to let them live on their own, and she says shes sure Ross will make a great father. He returns the compliment, kisses her and says that shell be a great grandma. Rachel watches the whole scenario and shouts, What about me? I still dont know what the hell Im doing! First she just says I still dont know what Im doing, but they later changed it to I still dont know what the hell Im doing. Ross thinks shes overreacting since all first-time moms feel that way. Rachel begs to differ, and Monica and Phoebe agree that Rachel is not ready to have a baby. Ross sits down on the table in front of her. When you came to the city you were a spoiled, helpless girl who still used her daddys credit card.. I hope youre going somewhere with this! Rachel says. Ross smiles. Look at you now! Youre this big time executive! You are much more capable than you give yourself credit for, and youll be a great mom, he says. They hug. Monica says that shell help out as well since she can baby-sit, and she has a car. I can drive her out to her grandma, she smiles, still trying to make Sandra forgive her. Sandra smiles at Ross and Rachel and decides to leave. Its like Im not here, she says. Which I almost wasnt, she adds while glaring at Monica. Monica laughs uneasily and thinks Sandra is funny. Monica has no idea what to do now, but Phoebe is sick of Sandra and tells Monica to tell her off. Phoebe thinks Sandra should be grateful for the lovely, albeit slightly boring shower Monica threw for Rachel. Monica agrees and runs after Sandra in the hallway. Its rude to leave without saying goodbye to the host, Monica says. She goes on to say that she thinks Sandra is being plain spiteful, and that you need to take a long look at yourself in the mirror, young lady, old lady... eh, lady! Wrap it up, wrap it up, Phoebe whispers. Monica says to the stunned Sandra that shell be there when Sandra is ready to apologize, and then Monica and Phoebe head back into the apartment. Monica closes the door and says that she cannot feel her legs. Phoebe says shes very proud of her and that she did a great thing. Monica asks Phoebe to get her something to drink before she runs into the hallway again looking for Sandra (who has already left). We see Monica run to the stairs and falling flat on her face down the stairs. She yells (OS), I just bit my tongue.. (weird sounds) but Im schtill wewwy sowwy!

Tag scene Ross and Rachels apartment

Ross and Rachel are sitting on the couch. Rachel is reading a huge book, while Ross is reading a magazine. Rachel slams the book shut, claiming that shes ready, and that she knows her stuff now. Ross stands up and pulls up a few questions. Rachel Green, get ready to play Bamboozled! he says in the announcer-voice. Big laughter from the audience! Ross How do you test the bath water? Rachel Stick my elbow in it. Ross Oh, the ladder of chance (..) and you can get a hopping bonus, but I dont think you should take it (obviously because Rachel is pregnant). What do you do when the baby does this [cries like a baby]? Rachel I check if its wet, hungry or (???) After giving her answer, Rachel gets up to leave. Ross tells her that she has reached the coconuts (some rule again), but Rachel just looks at him and wonders whether she should move to her moms house. They shot another ending to this scene afterwards. Ross offers Rachel a Wicked Wango card, and she accepts. Youre going to be a terrible mom! Ross reads. Rachel looks shocked and leaves while slamming the door.

The Taping

There were lots of scenes on the set. When we entered, we could see Sandra Greens hallway, which was a really small, yellow set. Next to it we could see the room where Joeys audition took place. Joeys apartment, Monica and Chandlers apartment and Ross and Rachels apartment were also there. Central Perk (even though they didnt use the set in this episode) was between Chandler and Monicas apartment and Ross and Rachels apartment. Some members of the crew relaxed on the couch and just hung out at the coffeehouse. The Central Perk set is freakishly small in real life. The prop- people who were in charge of decorating Monica and Chandlers apartment for the baby shower also used Central Perk as a storage area for food and presents. The audience got strawberries (prop from the baby shower scenes) from Kim Bolanowski, a prop-person. They were delicious!

In between the takes where Sandra tells Rachel that she needs a nanny, Scott Sassa showed up and talked to Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox Arquette. Hes the boss of NBCs entertainment department. There were lots of bloopers in this episode. Not only did we watch the bloopers show hosted by Conan Oien as some sort of warm-up before the cast came out, but the actors messed up their lines all the time. The guest star, Marlo Thomas, messed up her lines in literally every scene and tried to study the script in between the takes. In the first scene in Joeys apartment, Joey was supposed to throw the basketball to Ross, but David didnt catch it, and the other guys laughed at him. Matthew wasnt the only one having problems with keeping a straight face during the Bamboozled scenes. Matt made David mess up as well as himself, and they had to do take after take until they got it right. It was so funny, especially when Matthew was trying to say Joey, Im a head hunter. I hook up out-of-work soviet scientists with rouge third world nations. It took a long time to film this, but the audience was totally okay with that. They had to do many takes of the scene where Sandra and Ross talk and kiss, and Marlo Thomas joked that they could take it from the kissing-sequence all the time. David started laughing, and as a joke, they leaned in as if to kiss each other for real. When Ross was going to sit down on the table and talk to Rachel, David accidentally sat down on a music-toy, so it started to play music. He had said his line, and Jennifer stopped and just looked at him. She then realized that he was sitting on the toy, and they both started laughing. Matthew was the most audience-friendly of the bunch. He waved to the audience several times and talked to us as well. He looked really great and healthy. When he was ready to go home, he came back on the stage to give Courteney, Jennifer and Lisa a hug and say goodbye to Matt and David. He hugged Courteney and Lisa several times, so they seemed really close. When he waved at the audience right before he left the studio, he was wearing glasses, and Jim Bentley, the comedian whos in the audience, said that he looked like Clark Kent. Matt left after his audition scene, and he also waved to the audience. The rest of the cast members also acknowledged the audience by waving to us before they left; David Schwimmer was the only one who didnt wave or smile at us. However, he seemed to be very close with Courteney and Jennifer. He was talking to them and hugging them, and he even danced a little with Courteney. When he was doing the scene with Jennifer in Monica and Chandlers apartment, they were grinning and acting like really close friends. Courteney and Jennifer also came off as true friends. Courteney seemed to be a bit fascinated by Jennifers belly, so she touched it quite often. Other than that, one has to mention that the actors look good on TV, but they look amazing in real life. Also, before we entered the stage we saw Matthews BMW parked right in front of the stage, and we also saw David Crane & Marta Kauffmans private parking spots. Pretty cool. For some reason, Marta Kauffman was not at the taping, but we saw all the other producers.

Title 81 The One With The Cooking Class

Date of Taping March 1st.

Scenes Central Perk, Rosss apartment, Monica and Chandlers apartment, an office, a baby store and a cooking class, later on turned into acting class.

Main plots Rachel freaks out when she realizes she is due in a week and they havent bought anything for the baby yet. Monica and Joey go to a cooking class so that Monica can demonstrate she is a good chef after receiving a bad review. Chandler has a job interview and Phoebe helps him to practice for it.

Warning Prepear yourself, its kinda long

The first scene starts in Central Perk, with Joey, Chandler, Rachel and Phoebe. Ross enter with a whole bunch of newspapers saying he has bad news. Phoebe says thats not the best way to sell newspapers and Ross explains that Monica got a bad review on the newspaper and that he bought all the newspapers around the block so that she wouldnt find out. Right then Monica enters and seeing this big pile of newspapers she gets all excited thinking its something good. When she reads it she gets sad and Joey tries to cheer her up sharing some of his bad reviews and the first time he got a good one. He says his performance was described as `abismo, but no one knows what the heck that means.

Then we go into Ross and Rachels apartment, its night and Rachel is sitting on the couch. Ross comes out of his room in direction to the bathroom and Rachel speaks up, scaring him. He asks what she is doing up and she explains the birth is a week away and they still havent bought anything for the baby, so she is freaked out. He promises her they will go and buy all the stuff tomorrow and then excuses himself because he wanted to go to the bathroom. Rachel stops him and starts asking him what about them, now that they are living together and having a baby together… Ross doesnt know what to say and then Rachel laughs and says it was a joke to retain him from going to the bathroom.

Theres a scene in Chandler and Monicas apartment where Chandler and Monica are sitting in the kitchen table and Joey enters. He asks Monica if they were supposed to meet at the movies or here, Monica says at the movies and Joey is about to leave when Monica tells him to stay since he is already there, and he agrees. Joey asks Chandler why he isnt going and he explains he has to get ready for a job interview, Joey asks if he didnt have a job already and Chandler explains this one is much better. Then, Joey says they should get going or they are going to be late for the movies, Monica says she wants to stop in this cooking class place first to talk to the guy that gave her a bad review.

Now comes the baby store, Ross and Rachel are there shopping, with a cart full with baby stuff and Rachel is putting in more stuff that she doesnt even know what they are for, she is just buying to buy. When they get to the part where they have to pay, theres this girl (which I dont remember the name, sorry ) who starts talking and flirting with Ross. Rachel, trying not to laugh, looks at them both and chuckles every once in a while with the stuff the girl says to Ross. (The girl says he is like India Jones and Ross goes `…I am like Indiana Jones)

Then Central Perk appears again, Phoebe is sitting on the couch when Rachel comes in. She asks her how the baby shopping went and she says it went pretty good, but that there was this girl who kept flirting with Ross. Phoebe suggests that she is jealous that she was flirting with Ross. Rachel denies this and says she just thinks its unfair that Ross is going out on dates when she has to be sitting around alone carrying the baby. Then, Chandler comes in very well dressed (When he enters he says `Hey Pheebs, hey fatty). Phoebe asks him why he is so dressed up and he explains he has a job interview and he is really nervous about it, so Phoebe offers to help him.

Monica and Joey enter to this cooking class, she sees a guy and points at him telling Joey thats the guy who wrote the bad review, then another guy says the class is over and Monica corrects herself saying its the other guy. When everyone else is gone, Monica and Joey walk over to the guy and Monica starts explaining that she wants a second chance to make the guy see that she isnt a bad cook. When the guy doesnt agree to do so, Joey threads him and he agrees out of fear, but he still doesnt like Monicas food and says `Its abismo! Joey pats Monicas back and says `Alright!…Yeah, that doesnt help me any better. The guy leaves and a few seconds later a teacher and some students come in. Monica, noticing a class is about to start, starts leaving with Joey. The teacher asks a cooking question which none of the students know how to answer, so Monica raises her hand to offer the answer. She answers correctly and the teacher invites her to go to the first row, Joey hesitantly follows and places himself in one of the `tables (they had an oven on it and all the cooking supplies needed to cook) behind Monica.

Scene in RnRs apartment. Ross is going around the living room when theres a knock on the door. He goes to open it, and it reveals the same lady from the baby store. She says they forgot something in the store, and Ross says something like `Well, it wouldnt have been hard to notice since it was the only thing left in the store. She leaves the thing aside and tells him that delivering stuff to the customers houses isnt part of her job, so Ross is about to pay her a few bucks when she explains that she didnt mean that, just that she likes him and asks him if he would like to go out sometime. Just then Rachel appears from a bedroom holding two dinosaurs Ross bought for the baby. Ross agrees to go out with her and Rachel says `Bitch out loud. Both of them turn around, and to pretend she wasnt talking about the lady, she moves one of the dinosaurs and says `No, you are the bitch! (or something along those lines).

The cooking class again. The teacher is going around the classroom looking at everyones plates, Joey looks at a spaghetti and then throws it to the floor. The teacher stands next to him and asks him how he is doing, he said he is doing very well, the teacher asks him if he put the cheese in, and he says `You mean `put like ate as a before-cooking snack? the teacher laughs and then asks if he used the cream already and he says `I got thirsty with the cheese…. The teacher now gives him a weird look and walks to Monicas place. She tries Monicas spaghettis and finds them really good, she asks Monica if she had ever done it before and Monica pretends to be a new cook saying that he has never cooked before, and asks what its called when the water starts making bubbles. The teacher says she is the `star of the classroom and Monica, of course, gets all happy.

Chandler and Monicas apartment. Phoebe and Chandler are there practicing for the interview, Phoebe is pretending to be the interviewer and Chandler starts explaining the work he does and what he doesnt do. (`Ok, now tell me what you do do…Well, what I do do…) then Phoebe notices the time and tells Chandler that he has to go. Phoebe told him just to be serious and not to be himself (you know Phoebe ). He was being very serious and at the end, when he was about to leave, he says `Do do! and starts laughing while walking away.

Then came the job interview. Chandler was doing pretty well during it, and in one moment the interviewer starts saying that in this job he will have a lot of duties, he will have more than 0 duties, and a lot of stuff related to the word `duty. Then they stand up and he says to Chandler that he thinks he will fit in well in the office. Chandler is very thankful and says he was really nervous once he steps out of the office, then he explains that it was very hard not to laugh with him saying duty all the time. The guy looks confused and so Chandler explains `Duty… You know, doody! The guy looks even more confused `Poop!…Poop?…Oh my god, you didnt mean that?. Now Chandler starts freaking out getting that he never intended to mean doody. So he starts saying he should forget about it, that the real him was the guy inside the office, that who was now out of the office was a crazy man. `Security! Theres a crazy man! He starts calling and laughs nervously.

Now the cooking class once again. This time they were supposed to make cookies. The teacher passes by Monica, and says `Now lets try the star cookies and Monica says `Now, thats the second time you call me star, so I decided to make this… and she shows a star made by her. She tells the teacher to try her cookies and if she likes them she can give her the star. The teacher tries them, likes them and gives her the star. Then the teacher moves to Joey, tries his cookies and they are even better. Monica congratulates Joey and the teacher suggests that Monica should give Joey the star. Monica immediately says no, the teacher asks why and she says that Joey can beat a professional cook. At this, everyone gasps. She shuts them up and then she tells Joey that they should leave, but Joey doesnt want to because he is enjoying it. Then, the teacher asks if they even paid for this classes and Joey says `Hey, if my friend says we have to leave, we have to leave!. So they start leaving, then Joey returns, takes a cookie and leaves with Monica.

Rachel is sitting on the couch in her and Rosss apartment when Ross enters. Rachel asks him how his date went and he said it went pretty good, she starts asking him about his date and if he really likes her. He says he had a good time and that they would probably do it again. Rachel gets a little weird, Ross asks if everything is ok and she says `No, its not, its just… Oh, never mind, everythings just fine! She stands from the couch and Ross walks over to her and asks whats going on. Rachel explains that she doesnt want him to go out with that lady, nor with anyone, but not because she wants him to go out with her, but because she needs full attention and wants him to be there for her and the baby all the time she needs, to this Ross just says `Ok. Rachel seems pretty shocked and asks how could he just agree like that, that she realizes what she is asking is completely selfish. He says that if thats what she needs, he will do it, for her and for their baby. They hug and Rachel says she needs to go to the bathroom, but before she can leave the room Ross says `Hey Rach, one last thing… She stops Yeah?…Well… about us… Now that we live together, and Im not going to see anyone else because you dont want me to… dont you think it means that you want us to be together? Rachel pauses and looks at him `Well, I dont know... maybe… Ross looks at her shocked `Woah, Rach… I was just teasing you, just like you did last night when I had to go to the bathroom Rachel nervously looks at him and laughs `Yeah, me too! I was just playing along with you! Bet you didnt know I would play along, huh? She stands there, looking nervous, and Ross says `Um, Rach?…Yeah?…Didnt you have to go to the bathroom? (I dont remember if he says `Didnt you have to go to the bathroom or just `Bathroom? )...Oh, right! and then she leaves to the bathroom.

Last scene, Joey and Monica are walking down a hall, Monica is apologizing for making them lose the movie and Joey says its ok and that he had fun. Then they stop and Monica asks if he still has some cookie, he says its too late to ask that, meaning he already ate it. Monica looks at one side and notices an acting class place, so she suggests that they could go in and Joey could answer some question, like she did, to make him feel better about his acting skills. He agrees so they go in and stand by the door. The teacher finishes talking and asks a question, which no one knows, not even Joey. Monica looks at him expecting him to raise his hand but he just says `This was a bad idea! and leaves, Monica following close behind.

And that was it! 81 taping. It was a really good episode, at least I liked it. I laughed a lot, probably because I was really excited . Hope you guys liked the way it was written, Ive never read a spoiler so I dont know how its normally written. Anyway, I hope I didnt forget something important, it doesnt seem so. The dialogues I wrote may not be exactly what they say, because I dont remember every dialogue in the way it was, but its the main idea of what they say. Also, maybe the order of the scenes arent exactly the same as they may be shown when the episode airs. But to follow the story it is written in the order necessary to get things. Any questions, just post them here and Ill answer them.

Notes Who ever says the Friends cast arent friends is sooo wrong. Matthew and Lisa were tickling each other while waiting for the scene to start, they were all talking together and laughing. Then they would just hug each other for no reason. Jennifer was standing in front of the producers and David came, stood next to her and put his arm around her. Courteney at the end of the episode was freezing and Matt was rubbing her arms to help her to warm up. They all looked really friendly with each other. Just thought I would point it out. .

There was a part, in the scene with Monica, Joey and Chandler where Joey had to enter MnCs apartment. He had to repeat this part several times, and in one of them, Matthew stood up, put the chain lock to the door and then returned to his seat. Everyone started laughing at this, so Matt realized something was going on. He came from the other side (where MnCs apartment ends), walked to the door, unlocked it and went out again. If he hadnt realized, it would have been really funny, he would had probably banged his head on the door. Even though it didnt work, itought lots of laughs out of me.

RnR fans Obviously, the last scene with RnR seems to mean something. Probably Ross saying yes to what Rachel suggested was just a nice gesture, but her saying `Well, I dont know… Maybe… definitely may be a hint for them to get together… I dont know, it could be as much as it couldnt be… well all have to wait and see Also, I found the way Matthew says `Poop! extremely funny. They were all looking great, it was great seeing them live. Hope you enjoyed the spoiler!

8 TOW Rachel Is Late

(written by TrueLove8)

Heres some more of the episode... This will be pretty detailed, so dont read if you dont want to know everything This is from an email I wrote my friend, so it has a lot of the jokes... Im not sure you want to read all of them, so Im just warning you -- Ill leave out the parts I already told with Ross & Rachel. -- This is mainly the order its in, but I might have mixed a few things up ... especially with the Phoebe/Monica betting scenes ... Im not exactly sure where all of them go

Well... here it goes --

The first scene takes place in Central Perk ... Joey, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe, and Ross are all sitting and talking together -- Joey says the premiere of his movie is coming up, and all of them will be invited to go with him. Monica says she loves going in a limo when nobody has died! -- Rachel comes barging in and you can tell that everyone is afraid of her because shes so moody. She cant believe that she hasnt had the baby yet. Ross tells her that hes sorry and wants to know if theres anything he can do. Rachel flips out on him saying You...you... youve done enough!!!!! or something like that. Ross says he wishes they were sea horses... and Rachel gives him a weird look... then he says because with sea horses the male has the baby, and also because they would be in the sea, and he could be far away from her. He sees this conversation isnt going well, so he sits back down. Rachel motions for Chandler, Monica, and Joey to move over... they scoot over a little bit, but then realize how big Rachel is, so they squish really far over to the side. Phoebe starts telling Rachel that she knows how she is feeling because she felt the same way when she was pregnant with the triplets, and Rachel cuts her off saying thats a real nice story, Pheebs, but do you mind telling it while you get me some lemonade? --- Rachel starts talking to the babies yelling at them to GET OUT... GET OUT! ... Chandler looks around, and then hes like yeah, lets... and they all get up and leave Central Perk.

The next scene takes place in Monica & Chandlers apartment. Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, and Joey are sitting around. Rachel barges in yet again and Chandler looks at her and says Let me guess, still no baby? ... Rachel tells him that if he doesnt watch it she will go over there and sit on him! Rachel tells them that they gave her maternity leave early so now all she can do is hang around with them. Phoebe says or maybe you can try volunteer work! Joeys cell phone starts ringing... Rachel says If that phone rings ONE more time...! Its his agent. She says good news, she got him tickets to the premiere of his movie. He said that he thought he was going to have six tickets... she said he was, but she sold the others on ebay. After he hangs up, he says that he only has one ticket and wonders how hell be able to pick between Monica, Phoebe, Ross, and Chandler. Rachel says hey! ... Joey turns around and says that she said she didnt want to go. Rachel says she doesnt, but just because shes pregnant doesnt mean she has to be invisible. Joey says Youre definitely NOT invisible... and turns to the rest of the group shakin his head and like rolling his eyes. Monica says well Ross isnt here, so if you snooze you lose.. Chandler says that Ross isnt snoozing, hes teaching a class. Monica says Well then we know SOMEBODY is snoozing! Then Monica says that if he asks her that she was going to wear this new sequined dress that has a really low top. Chandler says hes never seen that dress before, and she says yeah, well be in a movie.. -- Phoebe then says that he should choose whoever his heart tells him to... then she starts patting her heart going phoebe, phoebe, phoebe... -- Joey says that his heart is telling him to pick Chandler. (Phoebe makes a sound of her heart stopping) Joey starts saying how this is the way he can pay Chandler back for everything hes done for him. Chandler says So youre never actually going to pay me back, are you? ... Joey lists things Chandler has done such as helping him pay for things, being there for him all the time, believing in him, going to his first audition with him, etc... Chandler says that hes always new he could do it and hes very proud of him. Phoebe says Hey Monica, I think maybe one of these will wanna wear your new dress! Joey and Chandler get uncomfortable, so Joey gets up and says he has to shave, and Chandler stands up and says and I have to... spit

They showed a pre-taped segment of Joey and Chandler walking into the premiere... Joey asks Chandler to make himself shorter because the actor is always supposed to seem really big. Chandler tries to make himself appear shorter and they walk into the movie.

Meanwhile, Phoebe, Monica, and Rachel are at Monicas apartment. Rachel says the baby thinks that her bladder is a squeeze toy, and leaves for the bathroom. Phoebe tells Monica that when Rachel comes out, that Monica should hold her nose, Phoebe will blow in her mouth, and the kid will just pop right out of her! -- Monica cant believe she hasnt had the baby yet. Phoebe says she thinks itll still be a little while before she does. Monica says really? wanna make this a little more interesting? ... Monica thinks shell have the baby by that time the next day. Phoebe thinks she wont. Monica asks what they should bet. Phoebe says ONE MILLION DOLLARS!! Monica says How about $50?. Rachel yells from the bathroom for somebody to come help her. Phoebe and Monica each try to get the other one to go... then Pheobe says Were not here right now... then realizes that now she has to be the one to go! Ross comes to the door and asks if Rachel is there because they have a doctors appointment. Monica says shes in the bathroom. Rachel yells something from the bathroom and Ross says and people ask me why were not together anymore... -- Rachel comes out wearing a really short tight tank top and a black skirt. Ross looks at his watch and says well you still have a little while to change. Rachel says shes not changing, and Ross says dont you think thats a little inappropriate? Rachel gets mad and says that its 100 degrees outside and she finally feels a little bit comfortable and that shes not changing! Ross says something like ok, youre the mommy and Rachel says no, no, no... its bad enough you call your own mother that! and walks out the door. Ross turns to Monica and she says I agree with her on that one. Rachel yells for Ross from down the hall. Ross looks to Phoebe and Monica and says Neither of you would want to be Ross, right? they shake their heads, and he walks out the door.

They filmed both scenes of Joey and Chandler watching the movie at the same time, so Im nto sure when they will be shown in the episode, but this is what they were... Joey is watching the movie then says ok the big fight scene is coming up... then turns to see that Chandler is sleeping. Joey turns back to the screen looking very upset. --- the next scene was with everyone clapping at the end of the movie, then Chandler wakes up and pretends to clap too. Joey plays along with him and asks what his favorite scene was. Chandler says all of it. Joey asks for specifics, and Chandler says the specifics were the best part! ... then Joey asks what he thought about the scene with the kangeroo. Chandler thinks this over then says I was kind of confused about why there would be a kangeroo in a World War 1 epic... Then Joey stops him and says you were sleeping! There was no kangeroo, they didnt use any of my suggestions!! Chandler tries to cover up that he was sleeping by saying that it was actually Joey that fell asleep, and that hes still sleeping right now, then he slaps him. Joey just says thanks a lot and walks out the door. (the first time they shot this they had Chandler say you dont wanna be in the limo all by yourself.. then Joey goes up to a girl and put his arm around her and they walk out together --- the nd and rd time they had Chandler see another guy sleeping and he says See, hes sleeping too, be mad at him! then the guy isnt moving at all and Chandler goes or call and ambulance -- everyone liked that ending better so I think thats the one well see)

The Ross/Rachel doctor scene would be here... (thats on pg 1 of this thread if you havent read it)

Phoebe, Monica, Ross, and Rachel are in Central Perk --- Rachel and Ross are talking about how they tried everything to get the baby to come faster, but it hasnt worked. Rachel looks at Ross and says, except for one thing -- Monica asks what it is that they havent tried, and that they should definitely try it! (because she wants to beat Phoebe in the bet) -- Rachel says the doctor says sex is the best way... Monica says they should definitely do it! .... Phoebe (because she wants to win) says shes against it... she says think of what it would do to the group! ... Rachel thinks it wouldnt be that big of a deal but that Ross thinks it would open a can of worms (in a whiney voice) -- Monica says well it doesnt have to be sex with Ross, she can borrow Chandler, hes really good. Rachel says she doesnt really want to do that. Then Ross asks why Monica is so into this... she admits they have a bet going. Ross goes on and on about how he cant believe they would bet on how long their friend will be going through all this misery... then Rachel cuts in and says she wants to be a part of it. Ross wants in too --- they both side with Phoebe

Then we have Joey and Chandler at Chandlers apartment ... they walk in and Joey has his check book ... he wants to pay back for everything Chandler ever did for him because Chandler fell asleep during the movie so he doesnt feel like he actually payed him back. Chandler says no, but Joey insists --- He starts listing off things such as paying for first head shot $500 .... paying for second booger headshots $500 ... then Joey says so far that would be..... and he cant figure out what that comes to -- Chandler finally says do you need a calculator? -- Joey says yes, then punches in the numbers and realizes it is $1000 (makes a face like oh of course) ... then continues adding up everything such as rent, food, etc... --- sees the total, realizes how much $ it is, then says well, it was just a premiere... who cares if you fell asleep, right?? He forgives him then tries to figure out how to clear the calculator.

The next day at Central Perk... Monica pays Phoebe $100, Rachel $50 and Ross $!

This is where the Ross/Rachel apartment scene would be .... (detailed on first page)

Last scene is Monica telling Phoebe they are done betting... then the phone rings.... Monica answers it ... she acts all calm and hangs up... then goes over and is like or we can bet one more time.... -- Phoebe says Rachels in labor, right? ... Monica screams How did you know that?!?! .... thenshe runs to the hall and screams Joey, Chandler... Rachels in labor --- Phoebe says that they are at the coffee house. Monica says You know EVERYTHING! ---then she says I bet its a girl... I bet it will way over 7 lbs..., etc... --- they leave the apartment... and the episode is over!
