Order your who ate the baby> paper at affordable prices! I believe that this short story reflected the thoughts of many people around the world. In this story, the man feels discontent, because he believes that he should live among his equals. Many ignorant people around the world, who believe that they are better than others because of material possessions like money, also feel that they should be associating only with people at their "level". This way of thinking (that you are better than others) is what made the man quest out for equals, and is what creates partitions between societies in the world, and creates hatred towards one another.

In the story, the man kept reassuring himself that he was a horse, and didnt allow himself to sink down to the level of a dog. I believe that a horse represented a free worker of the Crow Indians, while a dog represents a slave, which has absolutely no dignity. Reassuring himself that he had dignity and was free like the horse was a positive thing which helped the man to escape in the end. If the man wouldve sank down to the level of the dogs, he wouldve never been allowed to marry Pretty Calf, and so never have gotten his chance to escape. For success in life one of the biggest requirements is belief in oneself. When someone doesnt believe in himself, he will fail and try again a couple of times, but will soon give up, because he doesnt think he is good enough to succeed. However, since the man believed in himself, he was able to keep up his hopes, and remained in the camp long enough to see his opportunity to escape, and seize it.

I think the section of the story where the man goes out with the children and kills an enemy Indian, represents his transformation from a horse to a human. When he killed the man, it displayedavery and courage, and forced the Crow people to acknowledge him as a part of the society. Since he got horses from the Indian, he could no longer be thought of as a horse himself. He was not thought of as an equal, but was accepted. This was the part of the story in which his confidence was boosted tremendously, and he became sure that he would escape from the camp, and return to his home in Boston.

I think the authors message in this short story was that all men are created equal. Material possessions dont make someone superior to others, and if you think you are better than others, you Please note that this sample paper on who ate the baby> is for your review only. So many days I have spent doing something that my future doesnt hold in store for me, such as soccer, basketball, and baseball, just to name a few. All that time I always knew that I was an athlete. There was so much talent that my little body possessed, but I just couldnt come up with the right way to use it. While I always had fun playing those sports, there was always something missing. I loved the camaraderie, the leadership, the team bonding, and I even loved the discipline, I just never had the love for the sport. I never had the desire to go into my backyard by myself and practice to the point of keeling over. My father always told me that if I wanted to go anywhere in sports, that is what I ha to do. I tried to take his advice but I would end up being outside for ten minutes and get bored. I started to give up, maybe sports are just something that would act as a high school activity and that would be the end of it. Luckily for me, that whole idea ended because of my sophomore swim class.

I had always hated swimming. I hated to get into the water and swim laps. My entire body would be sore and I felt like I was getting nowhere. There was no ball for me to play with, and no goal for me to reach. It always seemed completely and utterly pointless. That is one of the reasons that I wasnt excited at all about swim class. Sure my friends were there with me, but if I wanted to get a good grade I couldnt goof around. So the first day we did laps, this is great I thought the same old boring stuff. The second day we did laps again. I was bored out of my mind; it was just another thing that I was doing that I wont in my future. Finally we started to do more things. We started to play some games such as water volleyball and under water hockey. I finally started to have fun, but the real fun didnt start until the first day that we played water polo. I remember thinking to myself that it was going to be another boring thing. You cant move fast in the water, and you cant stand when you are throwing the ball making it harder to throw faster. We practiced some techniques such as dribbling and shooting. That is when I realized that there was actually something to the game, it definitely wasnt easy. In order to dribble I had to keep the ball in front of me and swim free style causing splashes to push the ball forward. I was only allowed to ever touch the ball with one hand at a time. The ball was wet and slippery making the technique very difficult to grasp onto. When shooting, I couldnt touch the ground with my feet which made it more difficult to aim and throw hard. The more we learned, the more difficult it was.

I was having so much fun in my water polo class that I began to regain some hope. I thought maybe there is actually something that I can use my athletic ability on. I couldnt wait to learn more about the sport.

I went straight home and decided to do some research. I couldnt believe all the different associations that I found. There were so many names that I couldnt keep track. There were even some places that I could join to enhance my skill level. There is the USA Water Polo INC, the Collegiate Water Polo Association, the Australian Water Polo INC, the National Water Polo League, the New Zealand Water Polo Association, and many more.

I also learned that water sports first became a very popular thing in England. Many people loved to spend their days at the pool doing something that wasnt competitive but more recreational. Gradually various versions of land sports started to be played in the water. There was water football (or soccer), water rugby, water handball, and water polo. Water polo in this case however was when men would ride on wooden barrels and strike a pall with a stick, much like the game of horse polo.

Out of all of sports, under water rugby became the most popular. In this version of rugby, the object was for a player to have both hands on the ball and touch it to a post on the other side of the pool. This game was actually very violent and many men got injured. The game was full of contact, and as the game progressed fights began to occur away from the ball, and as the game is in the water many men passed out due to lack of oxygen. This game for some reason had a link with water polo and as a result it back then was called water polo.

In 1877 the Scottish took the game and made a more modernized version. They introduced the idea of having goals instead of just posts and the prohibited the idea of tackling. This turned the game into a much less contact and safer sport. The Scottish version helped to give emphasis to the idea of team work. Many concepts had to be introduced and practiced to perfection. Such concepts include passing, shooting, and swimming speed.

The first American water polo team wasnt created until about 1888. The team was started in Boston but soon the sport spread to various swim clubs and in some places around New York. The American water polo game was very different than the Scottish. They played in small indoor pools and as a result passing wasnt emphasized and the game started to take on a form very similar to that of American football. The American game became almost even rougher than the original English version had been.

Different versions of water polo started to spread around America. There was even a type of softball water polo. However this version wasnt as popular as the original version and it was soon dropped.

When water polo reached a certain popularity goal, the AAU took over creating tournaments all over America. This idea seemed great at the time but then that year in the national championship tournament, the semi-final game between the New York Athletic Club and the Chicago Athletic Association resulted in a major fight and because of it, the AAU dropped water polo all together.

In 114 water polo teams all around America and the AAU decided to come up with national rules for the game. This gave them a greater advantage to have the game be a national competitive sport and also a chance for more tournaments to be produced. After this the AAU decided to start conducting national championships once again. However some groups kept on playing the unaccepted softball version.

A man named James R. Smith helped to create a different type of ball then the leather soccer ball that they were originally using. He created a new ball that had a cotton covering of rubber faic to keep the ball from becoming heavier from absorbing too much water. The new ball also helped to keep the ball less slippery as it allowed for more grip in the course of the game.

The new ball helped to create a higher scoring game and also a faster game; as a result of this the new ball was adopted all around the world. It was even accepted into the 156 Olympics as the official ball.

In 177 the AAU was replaced with another group called the U.S. Water Polo, Inc.

Women were not as accepted into the game of water polo. They started to play it early in the 10s, however the sport was considered to be too rough for women as the proper sport we have now was not yet created. People thought that women would not be able to handle the contact and that it would result in more sustaining injuries. Because of the level of roughness water polo for women was dropped by colleges and clubs. However the AAU began conducting womens national championships in 161.

Womens water polo quickly spread mostly into California and Florida. In fact, most of the top teams since the early 170s have come from those states.

Since 186 there has been a womens championship held by the Federation Internationale de natation amateur (FINA) as part of the World Aquatic Games.

There were also a lot more rules of the game that I wasnt familiar with yet. I learned that the game had to be played in a pool that is at least 5 feet, 11 inches deep. This is because it makes it much harder for the players to be able to stand up. The whole idea creates a much more difficult game creating the need to be very physically fit. The goal is supposed to be feet, 10 inches high and at least feet above the water. The goal looks almost exactly the same as a soccer or hockey goal would look like. There are two bars going vertically from the ground and one bar connected to them horizontally.

For the men and women there are different regulations for the sizes of the pool. The mens pool is 8 feet long and 65 feet wide. The womens pool is 8 feet long and 56 feet wide. The womens pool is smaller because it is thought that it makes it easier for women. In my opinion women dont need the smaller pool because of physical fitness. A professional woman athlete would definitely be able to play in a mens pool or even just a fit woman athlete. However because women arent as strong as men, it makes for a higher scoring, faster, and more exciting game.

Games are divided into four quarters. Usually they range within 5 to 8 minutes in length depending upon what level of play the game is played at. If there is a tie there may be two periods of overtime with a length of minutes each. If the game is still tied after the two periods the game will keep going into overtime until there is a final goal scored making the decision.

There are seven players on each team including the goalie. The teams are differentiated by the color of the caps that are worn on their heads. This is the same idea of having color uniforms in land sports just as basketball, soccer, and rugby. However because of agility and speed purposes, body uniforms are not good in the water and capes seemed like the better solution. The goalie wears a red cap so that they arent mistaken for regular players. Usually the cap also has a number 1 on it in either white or blue.

The game starts with the ball being put in the middle of the pool. When the whistle is blown both teams race to the center or sprint to the center to gain possession of the ball.

There are different types of ways to progress with the ball. One may either dribble or pass the ball. When a player is trying to dribble they are to swim forward with the ball in front of them, creating waves that move the ball forward. They are never to touch the ball with two hands or the whistle will blow and the other team will gain possession. This is true for every player except for the goalie who can hold it with two hands. When players are on defense they cant interfere with a players movements unless the player is still and holding the ball.

When passing the ball, again you may not hold the ball with two hands and you may not pass while you are standing on the floor. This further enhances the fitness level, needing your upper body to be stronger in order to create harder, sharper passes to other teammates.

If a player fails to follow the rules, depending upon how bad the offense was, action will be taken by the referees. For small fouls such as touching the ball with two hands, or throwing the ball while standing in place the whistle will be blown and the other team will get a free pass to a teammate to advance them forward. The person taking the free throw may either pass or dribble forward; however at least two players must touch the ball after a free throw if a goal is to be scored.

For an major fouls occur such as contact fouls, and bad sportsmanlike fouls a person can be penalized by having one minute in the penalty box, and just like in basketball a player is removed from the game after committing five personal fouls. If a foul occurs near the goal that prevented scoring a penalty shot can be taken from the 4-meter line.

Of course even with all these rules there are still ways to be disrespectful, because of this they have a code of conduct. Each individual and team must abide by this code or the team or person can be penalized. One rule is that unless there is warm up space provided teams should not enter the deck area until after the game is finished. Another rule is that athletes are not allowed to change on the deck, they must use the changing rooms, and they canting any of their equipment out onto the deck, it must stay in the changing room or next to the team bench. Players have to present themselves in a respectful manner which is why all use of profanity is prohibited in the facility. The teams must all have warm up suits, if the team is on deck no street clothes can be worn and all teams must wear caps during warm ups to show what team they are on and also for hygiene reasons. And another very important rule of conduct is that all players must not criticize the officials publicly before, during, or after the game.

This code does not only apply to the players but the coaches also have their special code. Coaches also must not use profanity in the facilities and also should not criticize the referees. Coaches should hold discussions with the officials after a game and should be in a private area where no spectators, players, and administrators can be involved. Coaches also have a dress code on deck. They must wear a collared shirt with nice shoes or sandals and nice pants or shorts. No jeans and t-shirts should be worn. Also out of respect for the hosts of games and tournaments they are to write a letter of appreciation to the hosts athletic director.

I learned so much through my research online. The game is one which you need to be there physically as well as mentally. It is like all other sports a game where hard work and determination is needed as well as a high fitness and athletic ability. Even though the sport is not as well known through out the world it is constantly growing and becoming more popular with not only adults and college students but also with young children. With the rapid growth of the sport it is expected to become more popular, with more television time and news paper reports. Hopefully by the time that I am a professional the sport will have raised to a very respectable level where the rules and regulations as well as the emotions are known all through out the world.

TheoryThe power of the length is what opticians prefer to use as a measurement and is the reciprocal of the focal length in metres. The equation for this is

The focal length of a lens is simply the distance from the lens to the point of principle focus. The equation is rearrange from above by taking the reciprocal from each side

The process of calculating the exact power within the 4.5 D to 5.5 D margin will involve initially finding the focal length but in order to find the focal length I need to the power so therefore I will have to devise a means of doing this.

Theory 1)

Theory )

The above two theories are both capable of finding the focal length and the one which I will use is theory 1

When I have found both intercepts on each graph I will average them to find the focal lengths on, I will then divide by 1000 to get the power in dioptre of the Concave lens and combined lenses subsequently using the bellow rearranged formula I will be able to find the power of the convex lens.

Prediction

I predict that that when I have found the two intercepts and calculated the concave power it will fall within a margin of 4.5 D and 5.5 D

Apparatus

· Concave lens

· Convex lens

· Light source

· Meter ruler / mm

· Screen

· Power pack / 1 V

· Object- illuminated gauze

Method

I. Set up the apparatus up as shown in the diagram and switch on the power pack to alight the bulb.

II. Now place the screen at any given place where a focus image will be able to appear on the screen.

III. Move the lens so that the object is clearly focused on the screen, now record the following into a suitable table

§ Position of lens

§ Position of screen

§ U distance between lens and object

§ T distance between lens and screen

IV. Repeat section II to III until a minimum of 6 readings has been obtained.

V. Now add the concave lens directly behind the convex and carry out stages II to IV. If possible repeat the whole experiment a number of time and divide your answers by how many times you carried the experiment out to find an average

Analysis

From the above graph I found that the power of the single lens is .4D

And form the graph for the combined lenses I found that the power was 4.6D

Now to find the power I will use the equations I earlier mentioned in this essay.

Conclusion

In conclusion to my aim and prediction I fulfilled them both, the power I found fell at -4.6D.

The graphs show that as 1/U decreases 1/V increase, which illustrates that 1/U, is inversely proportional to 1/V.

Evaluation

On both graphs all the results lie on or extremely close to the line of best fit indicating that there was very little inaccuracies in the procedure experiment. This was because I closely followed my method and controlled my variables.

Uncertainties

Because nothing is 100% efficient there was errors encountered in my experiment.

The error margin I gave for 1/U was +- 0.4 mm

This was because the uncertainty of the ruler was +-0. and in the positioning of the lens was also +- 0. since measuring error in reading the scale I could not be exactly certain with the naked eye of the placement.

The error margin I gave for 1/V was +- 0.4 mm

This was because when focusing the image I could not be precise and may had been slightly out so I gave +- 0. error margin for this and with the error of the ruler which was as before +-0. adds up to the giver error above.

From the graph bellow it is possible that the lowest possible power for the single lens was

From the graph bellow it is possible that the highest possible power for the combined lens was

From the graph bellow it is possible that the highest possible power for the single lens was

From the graph bellow it is possible that the lowest possible power for the combined lens was

From the above findings the lowest possible power was

From the above findings the highest possible power was

Control of Variables

§ Amount of light was controlled by carrying out the experiment in a dark room, this is one of the reasons for the good set of results, because only the wanted light from the bulb was being projected on to the screen and no unwanted light from the surrounding contaminated the results.

§ Power of convex lens was kept the same by using the same lens throughout

§ Focal length of convex lens was kept the same by using the same lens throughout

§ Using the same ruler and clamping it down to keep it in a fixed position I controlled distance between object and lens. I also used a setsquare so that when measuring the length I had the lens at a right and to the ruler to improve accuracy.

§ Controlling the distance between lens and screen was the same as above, however to ensure I was in as much focus as I could be I spent enough time going in and out of focus to find the up most point of focus as possible with the eye.

Further proposals

The experiment was very human measured, electronic measuring equipment such as the Sonin 1000S Multi-Measure Combo Professional Electronic Distance Measuring Tool that is a fast and accurate tool would improve accuracy.

A hero is someone who protects us from danger, or risks their life for us. A hero is not a person who dresses up in a mask and a cape. We should know who the real heroes are.

First, who are the real heroes? There are a lot of and many different kinds of heroes today. Some heroes that show theiravery. For example, the firemen and policemen of New York City are heroes. Some of the heroes who fight for people are considered heroes. Our troops that fight for our freedom over seas against our enemies are heroes. Another thing that makes a hero is leadership. President Bush is a hero because of his leadership. I consider a role model to be a hero. For instance, Michael Jordan is a big role model to a lot of people. Another hero is a person doing something that they do not like to do. A person could work at a job that they do not like to do, but they do it anyway to provide for their family. They are all real heroes.

Next, what makes a real hero. It does not take that much to be a hero. All the little things can make a hero. Somebody can visit a lonely person that does not get many visitors. For example, they can visit someone and make them feel good. You can also be considered a hero by showingavery. For instance, if you save someone from a burning building, that can make a person a hero. Someone can do something for your community. For example, a person can clean up around your community. Anything can make a person a hero,

Finally, a hero is not a person who tries to act heroic. A hero is not a person who dresses up in a mask and a cape. For example, characters like Batman, Superman, and Spiderman are not real heroes. Some people try to act like their a real hero, but they never do anything heroic. For instance, people try to take credit for things that they have never done. A hero is not a person who takes their own life along with others. When the terrorist hijacked the plane and crashed it in the twin towers, they thought they would be heroes. They are not the real heroes. In conclusion, a hero can be someone who protects people from the evil. They can show theiravery by doing somethingave. There are many different ways to show what a hero really is.

Success, quite a universal word, it can enrich lives and create contentment, though it can also wreck lives and lead to despair. An opportunity to watch someone succeed would be moving, though if one had the chance to help someone succeed, it would be inspirational. One would learn new things from such a relationship. Maybe its not palpable, but whilst they teach, they are actually learning themselves. The people being referred to as they, are mentors. Mentors are significant in their students development and growth. A mentor motivates, educates, influences, guides and facilitates their student to succeed. Likewise the students are significant in their mentors lives; their success affects their mentor because a mentors success is measured by the corresponding success of their protg.

The definition of a protgin the Collins Dictionary says a protgis a person who is protected and helped by another. The movie Finding Forrester shows the classic scenario of an unlikely mentor relationship, a recluse Pulitzer Prize winner and a young sixteen year old Negro boy. The relationship develops and both of them end up learning and developing from one another. A mentor-student relationship goes both ways. "A friend of mine had the integrity to protect me when I was unwilling to protect him," Forrester talks about his protgJamal. The definition of a protgstated earlier, is turned upside down in this quote, because Jamal is clearly meant to be the protgand Forrester is meant to protect him. See Forrester is a recluse and wont leave his apartment, Jamal helps him to learn to live again and Forrester teaches Jamal to develop his already above standard writing techniques. Forrester protected Jamal and Jamal helped Forrester, both lives were enriched by this fruitful relationship.

Forrester had won a Pulitzer Prize but had nothing, he had stopped living; Jamal was like a son to him (in the end), he helped Forrester to live again, helped him to succeed again. Forresters success was measured by the corresponding success of Jamal.

Success in the Collins Dictionary is, achievement of something attempted, does this mean being the best?illiance, what if it is impossible to beilliant? But what if ones mentor wasilliant? Would the protgtake it constructively and appreciate theilliance or would they become jealous and turn their back on their mentor? In Maestro, Paul Crabbe learns the piano from Edward Keller, a Viennese with a shadowed past. Pauls mother and father are talented musicians, but they want Paul to learn from the best, so they send him to Keller. Keller and Paul really dont get on too well to start with, Keller treats Paul like a child taking him back to the raw basics of piano, Paul does not appreciate this at all, and he thought his teacher was a Nazi. Keller gradually over time, opened up to Paul, and the relationship developed and Paul learnt of Kellers terrible past. Meanwhile Paul was trying to be perfect on the piano; Keller wasilliant, all Paul wanted was to be wasilliant. "Dont confuse music with emotion," Keller says to Paul, music is just technical perfection in Kellers words. That is where Paul lost out on becomingilliant. Paul took it constructively though because it was more than that piano; it was life Keller was teaching him, he was a true mentor to Paul. It was Keller who made him who is was, he was his mentor and was like Pauls second father. Likewise Paul was Kellers adopted family. Paul bought Keller joy and hope, and a reason to keep on living. "I do not tell you this for me, but for you," Keller loved Paul and his music. This is an example of success on both sides, even though it is emotional success. Paul learnt how to be a man and how to appreciate life and Keller learnt how to love again. Kellers success is measured by the corresponding success of Paul.

Teachers can be mentors. Keller was Pauls teacher and mentor. The adult Paul was someone important because Keller was strict with him. He didnt let him do his own thing, even if he playedilliantly to his standards, Keller would still tell him he wasnt that good. Keller told Paul the truth, and strong relationships are based on truthfulness.

Ron Clarke left school with no intention of becoming a teacher. However, he ended up teaching in Harlem. He made it his life long habit to turn his students lives downside up. "Let me tell you right know, Im not going to play with you, Im here to make sure you get the best education possible," Clarke was true to his kids, he taught his students respect, discipline, maturity and helped raise his classes academic scores but most of all a relationship that most children wouldnt experience with their teachers, a mentor relationship. Clarke learnt a new way of life from his students. "It was very hard to get through to these kids, but I just kept at it- and pretty soon they opened up." Mentors cant just give up on their protgs; a mentor protects and helps their protg. Clarke had done this. He is like the ultimate mentor. He gave these children new hope; they also gave him new hope. Teachers can be mentors; students can also indirectly influence their teachers too. Clarkes success was to teach the children, the students success was to be given hope and a chance for an education and a better life. Clarkes success is measured by the corresponding success of his students.

Mentors definitely learn from their students. The movie Good Will Hunting, is a story about a kid from the other side of the train tracks, an abused orphan with a violent personality yet he was a genius. This is the story of Will Hunting; he was given to chance to be somebody, to succeed in life. He solved mathematical problems that took two years to prove in one night, he is a genius. Though because of his past he doesnt let anyone get close to him besides his best friend Chucky and his mates. Will is discovered solving the problems (he was a janitor in the maths building of the university) and the maths professor Jerry takes him under his wing. Will had to go to counseling because of probationary requirements; Jerry takes him to Sean (Jerrys old school friend). The first meeting doesnt go that well, Will gets Seans emotions going. But Sean perseveres with the boy and they both end up learning from each other. Sean learns how to live again and Will learns that he is someone special and he has to move on with his life. Sean is Wills mentor; both of them have a common past. Mentors should be able to relate to their protgs. Seans success is measured by the corresponding success of Will Hunting.

From all the different examples presented above there was a mutual benefit gained from the relationships. The relationships had depth; the individuals didnt give up when times were testing. This commitment to one another was rewarded with mutual accomplishment and respect. The mentors allowed a safe haven for the student to grow and success was the result. Although the intention of a mentor is not their own success, the consequence of their commitment to their protgand their resultant success lead to the corresponding success of the mentor.

Romeo and Juliet were an immature pair of teenagers who deserved their fate. Romeo and Juliet were immature yet mature at times. Love drove them to a cruel fate leading to only to devastation. Romeo and Juliet may be seen as a pair of immature teens making immature decisions because of a simple crush but can also be seen as a loving couple willing to do anything for one another.

Romeo was a simple young man whose heart is changed easily. He was deeply in love with a woman at one time and as he laid eyes on Juliet his heart fled to her. Shakespeare used many techniques throughout the play making Romeo seem like a simple-hearted man then at the next a romantic, caring lover. He makes the characters look immature in a certain part of a play and then changes this perspective at another point through the play. You may say that Lord Capulet was the immature one in some points in the text.

As Romeo and Juliet knew more about each other they found out that one was a Capulet and one a Montague. This love was not possible. The two families were always in feuds with one another. As there love grew more and more conflicts arose making their love more and more difficult. They married secretly which in most perspectives is very immature. In this way Juliet was confronted with another conflict. She had chosen to marry Paris but she was secretly married to Romeo Montague. This resulted into a family fight making things much more difficult for both Romeo and Juliet. Professional writers help on Romeo and Juliet essays Shakespeare creates further more complications throughout the play such as the one were Mercutio is killed by Tybalt. Romeo is infuriated by this and strikes viciously without thinking leading to the death of Tybalt causing further more problems in the relationship. The prince banishes Romeo as a result.

Romeo is informed that Juliet has dies but infact this is not true. He does not here the news from the Friar causing Romeo to kill himself in sorrow. Not long after Juliet awakens killing herself. In this way both Romeo and Juliet meet there fate. Shakespeare creates sympathy and makes the readers feel sad.

Romeo and Juliet were an immature pair of teenagers because they chose love before family. There decisions leaded to their deaths not resulting to any happiness. Their fate was cruel and somewhat deserved.

Part 1

To what extent did the Nazi leadership rely on terror to maintain their authority in Germany 1 145?

At its core, the Nazi state was indeed a terror state. It is important to remember that Hitler only won so much support through propaganda. There were still those in Germany who were opposed to Hitlers ideals, or did not conform to his own qualifications. As such, Hitler turned to Heinrich Himmler, the Chief of the German Police and head of the SS. Already in a position of power, it was Himmler who opened the first concentration camp at Dachau. Maned with SS troops, by the end of the war in 145, there were fifteen more such camps scattered across German occupied territory. It was to these camps that Hitler had sent a wide variety of people. Be they common criminals, political opponents, Jews or homosexuals, anyone who stood in the way of what Hitler saw would be his perfect Germany, or challenged his view, found themselves arrested and quickly transported to a concentration camp.

The concentration camps became a crucial component of Hitlers regime. The conditions inside the camps were appalling, and the prisoners were often treated with incredible cruelty. Some 00,000 people had suffered the concentration camps by 1. By the end of the war, some three million European Jews had died in the camps. So much so that Himmler created a separate unit of the SS known as the Order of the Deaths Head. A unit that was responsible for the running of the concentration camps, and helped facilitate the murder of millions by the end of the war.

A trip to the concentration camps more often then not was a sentence of death. Despite their attempt to hide the atrocities that went on inside the camps, some rumours did manage to leak out. Enigmatic and foreboding, Germans as well as Jews had grown to fear the camps by the end of the war. While not intentionally designed to strike fear into the population, the camps managed to achieve an infamous reputation for people going in, but never coming out.

The SS, as a whole, including its many sub groups, came to be of great value to Hitler in controlling the population. Despite technically being a police force, the SS were loyal to Hitler alone, and were placed above the law. Quick and harsh to deal out punishment to anyone unfortunate enough to step out of line, they made no attempts to cover up their actions. The more people who saw it the better, for while violence itself was a detriment to unrest, the threat of it was even more potent. As such people were often arrested inoad daylight, out on the streets. All it took was the slightest display of resistance or even hesitation, and SS troops would willingly beat the criminal in submission.

Coupled with the SS was the SD and Gestapo. The SD was the intelligentanch of the SS, while the Gestapo was the state secret intelligence. Combined, these two organizations sifted carefully through Germany, weeding out anyone who showed any hint of dissent. They often arrested people with little or no evidence against them bar hearsay, and sentenced them without a trial. Death by firing squad or the gallows usually followed.

So intense was the level of fear in Germany that people were afraid to met in public. For while the Gestapo and SD could not possibly spy on every person in Germany, an intricate network of informants kept them apprised of any given situation. It was these informants that allowed the Gestapo and SD to keep such a close eye on the people. These informants themselves werent always as organised. One German citizen was quite capable of exposing another.

Even the Nazi party itself was not safe. In the Night of the Long Knives, 1 June 14, Hitler ordered a purge of the SA leadership, killing anyone who in anyway opposed him. This purge turned into a massacre when the Nazis used it as an excuse to themselves or any other opponents.

1. Describe Albert Speers rise through the ranks of the Nazi Party.

When Speer began his life in the Nazi Party, his position was less then glamorous. In actuality, as a car owner, his job was to ferry party members back and forth between events. In 10, Speer was given the task of redecorating the Nazi headquarters. Despite all his work and enthusiasm, his work was met with varying opinions. Speers early career in the Nazi Party is plagued with these sorts of events. In 1 after receiving a cut to his salary due to the governments cost-cutting program, and was forced to retire.

Back in Berlin in 1, Speer was offered the chance to decorate Joseph Goebbels headquarters. This is considered to be a turning point in Speers life, as Hitler himself visited and complimented the work. Speers career was filled with these tasks. He would receive a call from Berlin, at which point he would race there only to undergo some minor architectural task. His opportunity came in 1 when he was called to Berlin by a friend of his, Karl Hanke, now a district organisation leader. Speer happened past Hanke as he was discussing the plans for the May 1st rally to be held at Tempelhof Field when Speer suggested some alterations. Hanke handed the project over to him, challenging him to do better. Speer came up with his cathedral of light concept, dozens of search lights pointing upwards, forming a wall around the gathering. Hitler was astounded by the works, and Speer was given the task of seeing to all of the party rallies. Rallies such as Nuremburg in July 1 helped progress his career further. Later in 1, under the direction of Paul Troost, Speer was given the task of refurnishing the chancellors residence. Thisought Speer into close contact with Hitler. Hitler seemed to from a close bond with Speer, whom he considered his superior in architecture, for that was what Hitler say himself as first and foremost. From his point onwards, Speer was in constant contact with Hitler and began to work his way up the ranks from there, until he achieved his highest rank as Minister of Armaments in 1

. Evaluate Albert Speers success as Minister of Armaments

Overall, it can be seen as somewhat surprising that Speer experienced the success he did in this post, considering that his expertise lay in architecture, not engineering. By the end of 144, Speer had succeeded in increasing the arms output by upwards of 00%. His accomplishments were capable primarily through what was referred to as "American methods". During World War I, and the beginning of World War II, Germanys armaments industry had been designed to produce weapons for a series of blitzkriegs and was ill suited to meet the demands of long-term warfare. Speer solved this problem by establishing a set of thirteen committees that would each be responsible for the mass production of a standardised weapon, be it tanks, machine guns or ammunition. Each committee was given the needed raw material, a time frame, and left to see to the work. In reference to these committees, Speer also managed to speed up production by removing military bureaucratic red tape from the whole procedure. Finally, as stated, Speer himself possessed little in the way of engineering or manufacturing know-how, but was talented in finding faults with the existing system. He overcame this by soliciting Hitler to allow him to employ many talented people who were not members of the Nazi Party. This gave Speer a wide selection of qualified people that were able to deal with the situation in a way that he could not.

. Why was Speer found guilty at the Nuremberg trial?

Speer was found guilty during the 145-46 trials for the simple matter that he admitted to them, at least in part. Speer claimed that he should take part responsibility for carrying out the orders passed down to him by Hitler, and that in such an totalitarian style government, even the subordinates must shoulder at least some of the responsibility. Straight forward, polite and never evasive, Speer soon earned the title of The good Nazi. His ready acceptance of guilt was a demonstration to the court that Speer did feel remorse for his actions during the war, and as such the judges were lenient with him

Order your Longevity paper at affordable prices! Longevity Questionnaire

I was given the longevity questionnaire to calculate my life expectancy based on a series of questions that dealt with different things. Many of the questions I found to be applicable, and many I found to be irrelevant. This paper is a summary of my thoughts on the questionnaire, and a few things that I think could be added to the questionnaire to make it more accurate.

The first section in the longevity questionnaire deals with you relatives. It asks questions based on the longevity and health of your parents, grandparents, and siblings. I thought that the questions about your families were very important in determining how long you may live because a lot of health problems are genetic. I do not, however, think that how long your grandparents or parents live have anything to do with how long you will live because medicine and technology has advanced since their time. There was also a question in this section that asked if your intelligence was superior, which I found to be very irrelevant.

The second section in the questionnaire was about health history. I particularly liked the question in this section that asked if you had no, or planned to have no children. I have read about how woman who have no children have a shorter life expectancy. I think one reason for this is because woman who do noteast feed have a higher risk of gettingeast cancer. This section also asks if you have an annual physical exam, which I feel can greatly lengthen your life expectancy. Many of people who are diagnosed with cancer and other serious diseases die because they dont have regular checkups, and it is too late once they find out. Your current health is what the next section of the questionnaire focuses on. The first questions deal with your weight and your diet. I feel that this is extremely important in calculating your longevity. Obesity causes many health problems, especially heart problems and diabetes. There is also a question that asks if your diet is low in fat and sugar. This question made a lot of sense to me because I have an aunt who is very skinny, and therefore eats whatever she wants, who had a mild heart attack recently. She has bad blood pressure and high cholesterol, and the doctors told her a lot of it had to do with her diet. A good diet, I think, is necessary to maintain good health.

How much you drink and smoke is also asked is the current health section. It is really depressing to see how many years of your life that you lose from smoking or heavy drinking. It isnt surprising though. What is surprising is that the questionnaire actually adds years to your life for moderate and light drinking. I have heard that drinking wine every now and then is good for your heart, but I had no idea. It was really interesting to see that.

The current health section also talks about exercise, sleep, sex, and chronic health conditions. I would think that having a chronic health condition would take more than five years off your life. I agree that doing aerobic exercise at least three times a week adds years to your life, and that sleeping more than ten hours or less than six takes years from your life. The thing about having sexual intercourse at least two times a week was a little surprising to me. I guess I can see how it can make your mental health better, but not enough to add two years to your life.

The next section deals with your current life. One of the questions is about your education. I dont agree with this one. A lot of people are successful and live a long time without an education. I know that having an education means making more money sometimes, but I dont think it makes you live longer. I do believe, though, that having a physically active job adds years to your life. I think it keeps you in shape and healthier. Also, the living in an urban area as opposed to a rural one question shocked me. I wouldnt think that either one would have an affect on your longevity. The next few questions were about married, widowed, and divorced people. I have no thoughts on these questions because I cant really relate to any of them.

There is also a question in this section about having two friends to confide in. It says to add two years to your life if you do. I dont think this is true because, although being able to confide in some releases some stress, it can sometimes be more stressful trying to confide in someone. The questionnaire says that if you are noticeably aggressive and hostile and feel regularly under time pressure, to subtract two to five years depending on how much the description fits. I think this is very true. Being under pressure all the time puts a lot of strain on your body, mentally and physically.

The next few questions, I thought, were very realistic. One says that if you are a happy person and have a lot of fun, then add two years. People who are happy are obviously not depressed, and I think depression takes a lot of years off your life. The next question just so happens to be about depression, and I agree with it totally that if you have been depressed for a period of more than a year, than you subtract one to three years. This section also talks asks if you take a lot of risks or if you generally avoid risks. I dont agree with this, because a lot of times taking risks can be good.

Overall, I liked the questionnaire and found a lot of the questions to be applicable. However, if I had to add a section it would be one on mental health and mental health family history. The section would ask questions about your mental health, asking if you have any mental disorders, retardation, or disabilities. It would also ask about the mental health of your relatives, such as your parents, grandparents, great grandparents, siblings, etc.

The reason I think this would be an important section is because I think that having any sort of mental problem affects your body physically. I also believe that many psychological disorders are genetic, and that I why it is important to know your family history. My grandmother, for instance, is a paranoid schizophrenic, and so was my great-great-grandmother. My great-grandmother has been taking care of her since she was about twenty years old. She has many physical problems. I think that her disease has taken several years off her life, and it would not surprise me if my great-grandmother outlives her.

Mental retardation also would affect your longevity. A lot of times, people with mental retardation suffer from a number of physical problems. Even things not so severe as retardation or schizophrenia are detrimental to your health. I myself was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a few years ago, and I know for a fact that it makes me sick physically sometimes, just from the depression. Alcoholism and drug addiction often come from psychological disorders, and I know for a fact that those things would take many years of your life. A mental health section would definitely add to the accuracy of the longevity questionnaire.

Order your Blacks and the Media paper at affordable prices! Black news mediums are important not only to the Black community, but to all races and ethnicities. They are important because they allow a better understanding of a great culture that has not only existed since the beginning of time, but has also built the United States into what it is today. They also allow Blacks to address issues in the Black community, properly educate individuals on Black culture and history, and provide Blacks with something that they can relate to and call their own.

Throughout history news mediums have attempted to properly discuss and educate the world on Black culture and Black history, however, these mediums have failed miserably. Not only do most news mediums erroneously portray Blacks as being unintelligent, lazy, chicken-eaters, they also only scratch the surface of the rich culture that constitutes not only Black history, but American history.

Blacks should be recognized not only as the engineers and designers of the United States, through their blood, sweat and tears during slavery, but also the inventors of modern day society with the plethora of Black inventions. Had it not been for slavery and the inventions of Blacks, the United States, as we know it today, would not be the same, or even worse, not exist. What is even more astounding, is that most people do not know that Blacks have had any part in shaping the United States, nor can they imagine, or possibly live life, without Black inventions, such as the fire extinguisher by Tom J. Marshal, the improved refrigerator by John Standard, the heating furnace by Alice H. Parker, or the electric elevator by Alexander Miles.

News mediums such as Ebony Magazine, Jet Magazine, BET, The Chicago Defender, Blackplanet.com, Blackvoices.com and various other Black radio stations have aided in the strive for public knowledge of Black history and culture. They do this by not limiting Black history to the month of Feuary, not limiting the people who contributed to Black history to just Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, and by involving Blacks who appeal to the younger generation such as music artists and athletes in conveying the message of Black culture. As a child growing up in the predominantly white public school system, I was exposed to many fallacies about Black history and culture. For years I thought that Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were the only ones who made a difference in Black history. If anyone were to ask me about either of the two I could recite one of their speeches, give a detailed description of their lives, and even provide photos and a page paper, but let them ask me who Alice Parker was or who invented the apparatus for transmissions of messages by electricity, and I would have no other choice but to give them a look of confusion. It was not until I was in my latter years in high school that I began researching other Blacks, and their accomplishments, and also realizing the true significance and importance of the Black experience. Apparently, other Blacks felt the same way, which is why there are so many news mediums today.

BET, or Black Entertainment Television, is a prime example of such a medium. Not only is it a station for Black people, but it is also a station owned and founded by Black people. It has shows that appeal to the younger generation, such as 106th and Park, Rap City and How Im Living, as well as shows that appeal to the older generation, such as BET Nightly News, Soul Food, and BET Jazz, just to name a few. Incorporated within all of the shows and even during commercialeaks are messages concerning the AIDS epidemic, which is plaguing the Black community, the war on Iraq and updates on famous Blacks who are making a difference. Whatever your interests are, BET has a show about it.

Black news mediums are essential in accurately portraying the Black community as well as keeping, not only Blacks, but the whole world informed on issues in the community and around the world. Without these mediums Blacks would still be perceived in a negative light because their contributions and achievements would be overlooked oriefly discussed.

Stays Together

This statement can be agreed with and disagreed with depending on what a persons arguments towards this statement is. For the following statement I have put together a few points that are in favour of it, and a few that are against it.

For The family might be a religious family so by praying together i.e. at church they are also spending time with each other, this time together can help the family sort out their differences and communicate with one another telling one another their feelings on certain subjects that have beenought up either in the family or on the news etc.

The parents of the family, or the elders can teach the younger members of the family about religious teachings, this might help the younger ones to understand and try and solve any problems they may come across in later life or problems within the family. They take the knowledge and apply it.

The children might want to learn more about the world so they make an agreement with their parents to take them to church every Sunday. The family is happy to do this and get to spend time with each other.

Against

One or more of the members or all of the members in the family may not be religious, by going to church etc. may be boring for the non religious part of the family.

The members of the family may want to pray in their own time when the others may not, they may wish to pray in their own way by themselves, so by making them pray with the rest of the family they are not going to be able to solve their own problems, e.g. personal problems.

Even if the family all pray together their may still be arguments going on in the family to split them up, prayer doesnt solve everything, it also involves coming clean which in some cases is a bad thing.

Conclusion

After looking at the above points and considering the statement I am against this statement along with probably many other people, my main argument being that a member of the family may not be religious, so by making that person go to church etc. with the rest of the family may have an impact on that individual. For example they may begin to argue with members of the family about having to go to church when they find it boring.

Creation vs. Evolution

If you order your cheap custom paper from our custom writing service you will receive a perfectly written assignment on Creation vs. Evolution. What we need from you is to provide us with your detailed paper instructions for our experienced writers to follow all of your specific writing requirements. Specify your order details, state the exact number of pages required and our custom writing professionals will deliver the best quality Creation vs. Evolution paper right on time. Out staff of freelance writers includes over 120 experts proficient in Creation vs. Evolution, therefore you can rest assured that your assignment will be handled by only top rated specialists. Order your Creation vs. Evolution paper at affordable prices! How do you think the world came to be, a Big Bang or a process that took 7 days? If you believe in the Big Bang theory, what exploded and where did it come from?

The question is did God create the universe billions of years ago (in order to let the light naturally reach us) or did He create the universe fully functioning (with the light instantly visible to us)? In my opinion, creating a fully functioning universe is the most logical approach. For example, "If I wanted to make a botanical garden, I would not plant seeds and wait 0 years for the vegetation to mature before I opened it to the public. I would harvest fully mature vegetation and start out with a fully functioning garden." (onson, 001) Its just more realistic.

As most people know, I was raised to read the Bible and to believe what it said about God and how He created the universe. But when I became old enough to think for myself I started to question religion and if God even existed. For a few years I had many doubts, that were mostly put in my head be friends, and really didnt care anymore. But then some things happened in my life and I turned back to God. I then began to realize that what I had been taught made a lot of sense and that, from my point, was the only logical way this world could have gotten here.

When I began my research for this paper, I came across so many different arguments for the beginning of the universe; some were so comical and unbelievable. But I did come across a few interesting ones based upon creation by God. The first was written by William Lane Craig in his book The Existence of God and the Beginning of the Universe, Truth A Journal of Modern Thought "The kalam cosmological argument, by showing that the universe began to exist, demonstrates that the world is not necessary being, therefore, not self-explanatory with respect to its existence… Since whatever begins to exist has a cause, there must exist a transcendent cause of the universe." (Craig, 11)

Although I dont know exactly what the authors belief is about creation vs. evolution, this one seems to me to be pointed towards creation and seems to be very logical.

The second argument is the cosmological argument defended by philosopher Saint Thomas Aquinas, but was invented long before

"It has many variations, but the simplest one is this Everything has to be caused by or created from something else. Therefore, there must have been a first cause, or what Aristotle called a prime mover, and this is God." (BQ, R. Solomon, 18)

The book states that Aquinas did believe in God as "the most reasonable thing to

believe in".

Another argument is the argument from design (for Gods existence) defended byitish philosopher William Paley. I think this is the closet argument that I came across that is the closet to what the Bible teaches and what I believe in. It is defined as "an argument that attempts to prove that God exists because of intricacy and design of nature." ( BQ glossary) The reasoning behind this is that since the world is so unique it most have been created by someone.

The last argument I wanted to mention is the ontological argument formulated by a monk named Saint Anselm. It is defined as "an argument (or set of arguments) that tries to prove the existence of God from the very concept of God "

(BQ glossary). Its reasoning is that if God has all possible perfection and existence is perfection, then God must exist.

All of these arguments have to do with God creating the universe, but each is showing slightly different perspectives.

In conclusion, I dont look down on people who believe in evolution or the Big Bang theory because everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs, but I cant understand how logically they can agree with it. There is so much information and research on the internet defending creation that has such logical reasonings behind them. I know there is the same information out there about evolution, but there always seems to be gaps in there research that cant be explained or questions that cant be answered. Creation by God just makes perfect sense to me.

"CSE sets out to demonstrate the fallacies and deceptions of modern evolutionary thinking. We believe the Bible is literally true and scientifically accurate. We believe the earth was created in six literal, 4-hour days, about 6000 years ago. We believe dinosaurs have always lived with man. They were called dragons throughout most of human history. Noah took them on the ark (probably juveniles--just be sure to get a pink one and a blue one!). After the Flood, people killed most of them. There are probably a few small ones still alive today in remote parts of the world." (Hovind, 18)

"Evolutionism is a religious worldview not supported by science, Scripture, popular opinion, or common sense. The exclusive teaching of this dangerous, mind-altering philosophy in tax-supported schools, parks, museums, etc. is a clear violation of the First Amendment."

--Dr. Kent Hovind (CSE Ministry, www.drdino.com)

The following time-line charts show the time differences presented. If the evolution chart were drawn to the same scale as the creation chart (1 inch = 750 years--at least in our printed material), the evolution chart would have to be 41 miles long!! The entire theory of evolution is built upon the faulty assumption that the origin of the universe was billions of years ago (BYA). The human mind cannot grasp billions of years. As with most fairy tales, evolution relies on long ago and far away to make the impossible seem true. My advice Dont bet your life on evolution!

Ten years is a long time. On the creation chart it would be .01 inch (the thickness of a piece of paper); on the evolution chart it would be invisible.

Few people will live 100 years. Lincoln was President over 10 years ago which is only .17 inch on the creation chart and invisible on the evolution chart.

Columbus sailed more than 500 years ago (/ of an inch). The entire creation chart of 6,000 years would be .000004 inches (still invisible) on the evolution chart! The entire fictitious geologic column of 600 millions years would be only .4 inch (less than 1/4 inch on the evolution chart at the scale it is drawn here.

Adaptations of Skeletal Structure

Skeletal structure differs for the locomotion of all species. Locomotion refers to the movement of an animal from one place to another4, many reasons for locomotion include searching for food, escape from predators, find a mate or in search for better living conditions. Many modes of locomotion include burrowing to swimming into large depths of water or from air to water and vice versa. All forms of locomotion require exertions of energy and force on their surrounding environment, using both muscular and non-muscular movements. Adaptations in joints and bone structure enable each species to migrate from positions in any way that they need to.

Joints and structure adaptations in class Aves (bird) are important for their locomotion. Birds are well adapted and suited for aerial mode of life that their whole organization and body structure is based on this mechanism. Since flight imposes a large surface weight ratio, birds are commonly small compared to other mammals. This short body creates less surface area for gravity to pull them down to surface. Birds bodies are small and have large amount of feathers upon its body, which are used for heat insulation and flight. There are different kinds of feathers on different parts of the body, meant for different functions. The alteration of forelimb to wing is the most important adaptation to flight. There are two free carpals; and the rest of the wrist is made of three metacarpals, the rather large pectoral muscles, making a larger part of the weight of the body produces the active movements of aerial locomotion. The muscle in the arm itself serves to extend the whole wing and to change the positions of the parts which assist with the aerodynamics and powered flight of the bird. The larger the bird, the more force which needs to be generated to maintain its flight pattern which is why most birds are short, light skeletal structural adaptations and aerodynamic posture. Gliding flight is economical in energetic terms as to powerful flapping flight. Aerofoil is also used to generate lift in all type of flight the size and shape of the orientation of the aerofoil determines the flight performance.

Most characteristic adaptations occur in the skeleton. Bones are light, and most of the birds have extensions of the air sacs. Sternum contains a large keel for the connection of muscles, the final tail verteae is merged. By the presence of the keel, with its muscles, the centre of gravity is below the centre of pressure, giving great stability. The joints of the verteal column are compacted so that there is only movement in the cervical region. Limbs and girdles are also altered and great fusion of bones takes place. The neck is stretched and highly mobile. The trunk is plump, boat-shaped and is the larger part of the body. They have two pairs of limbs which are against the trunk when the animal is not flying. As shown in fig 1 each wing shows three typical divisions as do most animals upper arm, forearm and hand.

The shape of the wings and evolution of the muscles depend on the type of the flight that they wish to endure. The hind limbs are placed in a position that they can carry the entire body weight when they are on the ground.

Class Mammalian involves a less technical procedure for locomotion throughout their environment. Mammals are verteates by definition, this means that all mammals have an internal bony support structure to which muscles and ligaments are attached4. With basic joint and bone structure enables basic movement against the force of gravity. With mammals travelling on the surface of Earth a majority of the weight is transferred directly onto the surface. The main structure of the locomotion for mammals is the pelvic girdle. With both limbs departing from this structure, it becomes valuable for the precise movement of both limbs. Mammals consist of a head at one end of a verteal column from which extend ribs to support the working organs and four limbs for locomotion. The verteal column ends in a tail but the huge range of lifestyles and habitats utilised by mammals means that a great deal of variety exists between different groups. Some species lack a tail, others lack apparent hind limbs and the skull is very variable7. The skull in early stages consists of a very cartilagous structure, containing minimal bone, but as the body develops so does the bone structure throughout the body.

Amphibian locomotion differs as they are in both water and land, the skeleton design is highly specialised. Amphibians contain short, barely flexible verteal column. Particularly the toad contains an unusual wishbone shaped pelvic girdle. The hind limb, proximal pair of ankle bones are separate and elongated5. Therefore different amphibian species migrate in varied ways. The main action for locomotion is the bending of the elbow1. The toad transfers positions using mainly strong, flexibly hind limbs, with a great outreach and forceful propulsion on the surface. With great movement in all pelvis region, knees and especially ankle region shows that they are able to conduct swimming locomotion as well as land.

Class Osteichthyes (Fish) skeletal structure differs throughout their species and are present in many varying forms all over the world. The main difference between shapes of individual species would firstly concern the need for them to travel through a resistant fluid with varying densities, pressures and drags. With a combination of these problems each species has developed, sometimes radically, different body profiles, many have developed torpedo shaped bodies to counteract the drag and glide through the water5. The caudal fin is probably the most important attachment used for acceleration as it whips through the water generating acceleration throughout their environment. Sideways curvature in the spine moves in a posterior direction to ensure basic direction and adaptation to their swimming environment. The swimming procedure starts with lateral displacement of head, and then passage of this displacement along the body axis to the tail1, similar to peristalsis motion to force the structure through using energy powering force. This Eel-like swimming characteristic is more energy efficient than power stroking using fins.

The lizard (Reptilia) is evolved from the class amphibian. With very fast rear limb movements, requires the lizard to have full mobility at the knees8. These very fast land animals have a basic locomotive structure. When the travel they also use the wave like motion similar to a fish, which enables them to be aerodynamic and not exert as much energy to move. With a lateral flexible spine allows side movement similar to the fish. They contain fine bones underneath the mandible so when they flare the frill neck is at a constant output8. Locomotion is common with these animals so adaptations are similar with all species.

The dog (Canis familiaris) and the cat (Felis silvestris) are both mammals, but even though they seem so similar there are varying differences in locomotion structure and skeleton structure. The movements in the neck are slightly limited to the dog when compared to the cat. Many differences which can be identified are that cats have a more curved and flexible spine. The have a longer tail and typically smaller animal. The body structures are typically the same, only differs slightly in the limb structure. Cats are particularly flexible; this is due to the structure of their body. Cats have 0 spinal verteae which extends all the way to the tip of the tail. This is 5 more than is found in humans, also Scapulae (shoulder bones) which are attached to the sides of the body by muscle, pliable discs of the bone-like substance fiocartilage, a small floating clavicle attached to the body by muscle and strong hind legs which are longer than the forelegs, this enables them to jump long distances and climb vertical structures.

Locomotion is important in all species whether its for food or defensive actions, Skeletal structure is important to ensure locomotion is accurate in direct and prevent injuries. Basically skeletal structure is the bony section of the body and holds everything together. Without locomotion and moving parts, species would be still and not able to move. Skeletal structure even helps stimulateeathing by putting pressure on the lungs. Locomotion is important in everyday life for interaction feeding and daily habits. The design of locomotive structure determines the energy exertion amount and preserves energy for other activities. Finally adaptations in joints and bone structure enables each specific species to migrate from positions in any way they require to and live as modern day verteates.
